The aims of Praxis are to promote and advance the social welfare and housing needs of people who are poor, suffering or recovering from mental health illness, alcoholism or chemical addictions, by providing advice, treatment and support through the provision of both community services and the develpoment and management of housing schemes intended to provide accommodation for homeless people.

1- Promote and advance the education, training, and advancement of young people,from Hackney, Haringey, Barnet, Manchester and Gateshead, who have disabilities, and are financially deprived;to empower them to maximise their potential.2- Provide a warm and caring environment in which they may access recreational and leisure opportunities catered to their needs.

To provide high quality affordable childcare to the local community, supporting those parents who wish to either return to work or continue with their education.

To promote any charitable purpose in the Church of England Parish of Bensham and the Teams and the surrounding area by working in partnership with the Church authorities, local authority, voluntary organisations and families to advance education and provide services and activities which enhance the quality of life of the local community.

Sense Ability Matters is here to help all adults in our South Tyneside and Gateshead community who have a sensory impairment, are disabled, or live with a long-term health condition.

The charities objectives are to promote theological and talmudic research, provide such educational facilities as will enable the students to become Rabbis, Ministers, Readers and Hebrew teachers for the Jewish Community. The college also helps necessitous students pursue their studies by means of scholarships and grants.

Achieved through the provision of facilities for participating in gymnastics and gymnastic related activities.The activities of the charity, which is accredited to British Gymnastics, include training and coaching for members and the organisation of club and gymnastic competitions.

Our charity is a County Scout Council which operates in the County of Durham and the local authority areas of Gateshead, South Tyneside, Sunderland and Darlington. We are responsible for the governance, delivery and support of Scouting in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association and we operate and manage an adventurous activity centre outside of Durham.

To promote, improve and advance participation and education in the arts including the arts of dance, drama and music for people of all ages and abilities.

The charities activities during the year continued to be the provision of elementary and secondary tuition to Jewish boys.

We use music to help people who have experienced homelessness make positive changes in their lives, to advance the education of the public in the arts in particular but not exclusively in the art of opera. The programmes include: educational workshops, youth groups, older peoples services, volunteering and training. The charity is involved with a range of environmental and community based projects within the area.
