The Eastcombe Scouts & Guides charity exists to provide the meeting facilities and equipment for the scout & guide sections that meet at the Eastcombe Scout & Guide Hall. The activities include provision & maintenance of the building and overall administration of the sections in accordance with the scout & guide associations rules. The charity provides funding to the sections to further their work

The charity provides social housing for elderly people over 60 years of age from the local area or where need is required.

RENOVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ST BRIAVELS ASSEMBLY ROOMS FOR THE USE OF THE COMMUNITY OF ST BRIAVELS, BROCKWEIR AND HEWELSFIELD.

The Black Elders Day Centre operates within the County of Gloucestershire and delivers Day Care to African Caribbean Elders, (but not exclusively) aged 50 and over. Specially to the frail, elderly and disabled by providing day care services twice weekly - Personal care, cooked lunch, social activity and mental stimulation, day trips and outings, adult education and health improvement activities.

TO RESCUE AND PROVIDE VETERINARY ATTENTION FOR SICK, INJURED ABUSED AND NEGLECTED FARM ANIMALS AND PROVIDE THEM WITH A PERMANENT HOME.TO RESCUE INJURED BIRDS AND PROVIDE ADEQUATE VETERINARY ATTENTION UNTIL THEY CAN BE RELEASED INTO THEIR NATURAL HABITAT OR BECOME RESIDENT IN A SANCTUARY.

The society presents high-quality, public chamber music recitals, typically 10-12 per annum.

General Scouting activities

Giving grants of goods and services to people and organisations in need, in the area of benefit covering postcodes GL50, GL51, GL52 and GL53. Priority is given to applicants from the Parish of Prestbury, Gloucestershire, and the adjoining parishes of Southam and Swindon Village.

PROVIDING SCOUTING AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 6 - 14 YEARS.

To provide a community meeting place for the benefit of local people.

The charity built and maintains the village hall and playing fields on leased land at Didmarton for use by the local community. It also runs community events and supports local clubs and associations such as the cricket club and the playgroup.

To advance the musical education of the public in the Barbershop/unaccompanied 4-part Harmony style (chorus or small groups) especially youth members . To provide singing education at weekly rehearsals and run public 'Learn to Sing' courses. To showcase the Charity's work in concerts and shows at public venues. To further any purpose recognised as Exclusively Charitable.

Provision of educational and recreational activities in the Tewkesbury area for those no longer in full time employment. This is done mainly through small self help groups.
