WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, TO PRODUCE A PROGRAMME OF DRAMA AND MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS IN WHICH MEMBERS PARTICIPATE

We raise funds for Park infrastructure such as lighting, exercise equipment, seating and table tennis tables. We also raise funds for planting and horticultural restoration. Our members help with park maintenance and conduct regular litter picking. We are currently campaigning to raise funds for installing heritage information signs and for upgrading the Sandford Park playground.

GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES

THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, THE PROMOTION OF RELIGIOUS AND SUCH OTHER PUBLIC OBJECTS BEING CHARITABLE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE.

Provision of village hall for parish events, meetings, social activities together with recreation ground for sporting activities. The geographical area covered is the parish of Tidenham although the use of the facilities is open to all for booking events.

As well as providing grants to deserving causes within Wotton under Edge Area, District and Multiple District Lions Club, Wotton under Edge Lions Club undertakes a number of community service projects. Encouraging people to volunteer to support our community

Affiliated to the Scout Association, 1st Dursley Scout Group provides a programme of badge work, a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, inter-personal skill and personal development activities from the age of 4 years, through Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts aged 14.5 years.

RENOVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ST BRIAVELS ASSEMBLY ROOMS FOR THE USE OF THE COMMUNITY OF ST BRIAVELS, BROCKWEIR AND HEWELSFIELD.

Provision & management of village hall and playing fields for the enjoyment of people in the locality of Randwick

To initiate projects that aid in the beautification of Newent

Provision of affordable housing for single elderly people

To provide a community meeting place for the benefit of local people.

Religious activities

The charity built and maintains the village hall and playing fields on leased land at Didmarton for use by the local community. It also runs community events and supports local clubs and associations such as the cricket club and the playgroup.

To advance the musical education of the public in the Barbershop/unaccompanied 4-part Harmony style (chorus or small groups) especially youth members . To provide singing education at weekly rehearsals and run public 'Learn to Sing' courses. To showcase the Charity's work in concerts and shows at public venues. To further any purpose recognised as Exclusively Charitable.

to raise funds in the local community and, where possible, further afield, entirely to be expended for the benefit of the pupils at Minchinhampton School - through the subsidy of educational trips, the purchase of "capital " items for use in school, whether sporting, artistic, cultural or specifically educational and generally to help further the school's goals

The object of the group shall be to preserve, restore, exhibit and operate for the benefit of the public ex British Rail Class 37 (English Electric) diesel locomotives (s) of historical interest.

The object of the choir shall be the study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by public performance.

The income from the assets is used to provide special benefits to Tewkesbury School and needy young people in the defined territory to support their education.
