Village Hall

The study and practice of Choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance.

The charity runs various vocal training courses for students of all ages with the aim of promoting, improving, developing and maintaining public appreciation and experience of vocal music. Classes are held on a weekly basis during the three term year and singers also experience workshops and performing at recitals and concerts. The age range is from 5 years upto late teens.

Dursley Town Trust maintains Dursley Town Hall and Market Place and Jacob's House and Dursley Heritage Centre all being in the centre of Dursley. A sub committee runs Dursley Heritage Centre. The Trust makes the Town Hall and Market Place available for commercial and charitable use as a meeting place and market centre. It leases Jacob's House to Dursley own Council.

Hold fundraising events in the school such as Christmas Fayre, Breakfast with Santa, Halloween Disco, Valentines Disco, Summer Fete, Bingo & Curry Evenings, Mother's & Father's Day secret present rooms. We also hold new & second-hand uniform sales as well as weekly ice-cream/hot chocolate sales on Friday's after school.

Village Hall for use by local residents and organisations providing benefit to the residents of Pauntley Parish.

To provide and maintain a village hall and recreation ground for the benefit of individuals and groups in the Lydbrook & local district.

Our primary goal is to provide a home for Lydney Youth Hub, where the needs of the young people are met, somewhere safe and secure, in order to tackle the complex personal and social issues facing young people in our area.The Hub Building will be a hub of innovation, creativity and positivity that supports the growth of the young people and extends this encouragement to the wider community.

The Trustees meet as required to consider and grant or deny requests for donations forwarded by members of the Lodge or direct by individuals or groups

The administration and management of 'The Palmer Hall' Fairford available to various user groups and individual hiring, a community facility for the town of Fairford, Glos.

To run the Bristol Festival of Music Speech & Drama, an annual event of artistic participation, competitions and workshops in music, speech and drama.

The charity has two properties that it rents for people in need

Halloween Disco, Easter Egg draw, Discos, fundraising,hire of premises, Donation from football clubs

To preserve and enhance open green spaces and community facilities for the benefit of people and/or wildlife

Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils

Providing centre for Rural community activity furthering social educational and welfare activities for a whole encompassing age range.
