fundraising for Longlevens Infant School

The Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association, founded in 1926, provides small grants and loans, technical advice and support to it's members - town & parish councils, sports clubs and other community organisations. The Association's aims are to help protect, improve and promote active use of parks, playgrounds and playing fields across the counties of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.

Regular weekly classes of Scottish Country Dancing at beginner, general, advanced and demonstration level. Open evenings to introduce new dancers. Monthly social dances, including an annual ball.

Berkeley Community Trust act on behalf of local organisations too small to be charities in their own right.

Ruardean Woodside Memorial Hall

The school parents association runs fundraising events and activities to provide great experiences for the children of Eastington School

This is a grant giving charity funded by historical endowment, which intends to distribute its net income year by year.

Support for Christian outreach programs in India, the Philippines & Kenya. Christian teaching & pastoral care focusing on encouragement & guidance - local & international. A devotional message of inspiration & encouragement sent by email twice weekly. Hospitality after church services to a diverse mix of visitors. Provision of hall meeting space for local community activities.

The village hall provides a refurbished premise for local community use and hire. Our local organisations which includes the WI, short mat bowling, keep fit,book club , yoga, quilters,dowsing group and reading group, amateur dramatics and village lunches etc meet regularly on a weekly or monthly basis. Occasionally parties and funeral/ anniversary teas are catered for.

The Charity raises funds for the benefit of the school children of Greatfield Park Primary School

Provides riding lessons for people of any age and disability.

We run a Memory Cafe for those suffering from dementia and their carers, provide weekly refreshments to the local Walking for Health group, hold a Homework and Learning Support Club for primary aged children during school term time and organise youth activities as part of the Gaff Youth Project. We have also launched a Gentle Exercise Class for people wanting to maintain strength and fitness.

Providing scouting activities for young people aged 6-15

Any member of the public can join the choir and receive training in choral singing and reading music. At the end of each term the choir gives a concert open to the public. Donations made at the concerts are split between chosen charities and local churches. Members of the choir make a termly donation towards the costs of teaching and accompaniment.

Care of the church of St Mary's Batsford

The Charity is a Scout Group and a member of the Scout Association.

Provision of the usual services associated with a Village Hall

Fundraising through holding car boot sales, quiz nights and other events. The purchase of equipment and services for the benefit of the Crypt School. These would not otherwise be funded by the school's grant income.

The provision of scholarships, exhibitions and bursaries at Rendcomb College. The provision of materials and equipment for use by staff and/or pupils at the College. The provision of new buildings at the College, such other provisions as in the opinion of the Trustees will continue to the educational, recreational or pastoral requirements of the College.

We raise much needed additional funds to support projects and events where there are real benefits derived for all the children by arranging a series of fundraising events throughout the school year. We encourage participation from the children and their parents to ensure that the events are successful, at the same time as providing a fun and entertaining programme which complements school life.
