The purpose of the Church shall be:-(1) the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Sedbury, Chepstow and the surrounding area :and (2) such other purposes as shall, in the opinion of the Charity Trustees put into practice the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith.

We run a Memory Cafe for those suffering from dementia and their carers, provide weekly refreshments to the local Walking for Health group, hold a Homework and Learning Support Club for primary aged children during school term time and organise youth activities as part of the Gaff Youth Project. We have also launched a Gentle Exercise Class for people wanting to maintain strength and fitness.

Raising funds for Norton C of E School

Any member of the public can join the choir and receive training in choral singing and reading music. At the end of each term the choir gives a concert open to the public. Donations made at the concerts are split between chosen charities and local churches. Members of the choir make a termly donation towards the costs of teaching and accompaniment.

Operation and management of village hall for the benefit the local community

To improve the breed and promote the breeding of Shire Horses.

The charity provides and maintains a meeting place for the community. It hires out the Hall for meetings including Parish Council, Guides and Brownies, Toddlers, Parish Council, Yoga, Table Tennis as well as fund raising activities.

Provision of recreational and educational facilities for the local community; access and enjoyment of the local environment; fundraise to maintain and service such facilities.

Provides building (village hall) and basic facilities (large and small room, toilets, kitchen, parking) for use by local groups including currently playgroup, yoga, silver band, WI, children's cheerleading group, and for general public (eg private parties, fund raising events).

Fundraising through holding car boot sales, quiz nights and other events. The purchase of equipment and services for the benefit of the Crypt School. These would not otherwise be funded by the school's grant income.

Raising money for the primary school as a PTFA

To protect and preserve for the benefit of the public and the nation Westonbirt House and Gardens and the Estates previously in the ownership of the Holford family in the county of Gloucestershire and the Holford Heritage associated therewith.

Grants to needy and sick persons resident within the City of Gloucester (1969 boundary) for:Furniture, appliances, bedding, medical aids, holidays or other items considered necessary by the Trustees.

The Group is a member of the Scout Association and provides for the spititual and physical development of young people from the ages of 6 through to 14.

General charitable purposes including education, health, disability, animal and relief of poverty in the area of Gloucestershire, nationally and Rotary supported organisations overseas.

The School offers Mandarin classes to people of all ages and backgrounds, and hosts many exciting events throughout the year.

The objects are to apply the trust fund at such times and in such a manner to or for the benefit of such exclusively charitable objects or purposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit.

To promote links between the school and the community and to raise money to promote the welfare and education of the children at the school.

Supports the maintenance of the fabric, fittings and music of St Giles Church Uley

The PTFA fundraises for The High School Leckhampton by hosting events and supporting school activities. We provide funds so the school can enhance the learning environment and supply additional equipment and resources for pupils' education, as well as run pre-loved uniform sales.

Historical research, preservation and education

The Trust has firm Christian foundations and seeks to share that Faith practically by helping people discover more about Christianity through bible study, prayer & building relationships, encouraging new initiatives by providing seed funds (e.g. for a local youth worker) and giving care and support for children, families & the elderly, especially those who are vulnerable or living on the margins.
