The Charity has been in existence since 1551 and was set up by Gyles Geest for the benefit of the poor and needy of the old Borough of Tewkesbury

Twyning school PTFA raises funds to enhance the education and enjoyment of Twyning school pupils.e.g. buying classroom equipment over and above that usually provided, supporting extra school activities , maintaining our "secret garden" - funded for educational and recreational use by the children and paying for transport for the whole school to visit the pantomime each year.

Regular social events are held throughout the year - these include monthly coffee mornings and social evenings and also a Christmas and Summer Party. The Village Hall is therefore used and enjoyed by many residents of Laverton.

Maintaining Millennium Green

Management of the village hall.

Organise fundraising & social events for pupils, parents, staff & wider community. All money raised is donated to the school for extra activities and equipment.

Provides use of village hall for clubs, nursery school group, and private parties.

Provide a hall with facilities for adult and children's activities within the community.

The Friends of The Croft School organises events such as fairs, children's parties and social evenings with the primary aim of raising funds to support the schooling of the pupils of the Croft School.

OUR AIM IS TO SUPPLEMENT THE SCHOOL WITH RESOURCES THAT IT OTHERWISE COULD NOT AFFORD AND IN DOING SO IMPROVE AND EXTEND THE FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO THE CHILDREN, TEACHING STAFF AND WIDER COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION, FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR TO RAISE FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF A LARGE CAPITAL PROJECT INVOLVING THE REPLACEMENT OF AGED TEMPORARY BUILDINGS WITH A MORE SUITABLE MODERN BUILDING.
