Running the Village Hall

To advance the participation, education and appreciation of the general public of all ages in the art and science of brass band music in Cheltenham, wider Gloucestershire and the South West through the provision of rehearsal facilities, instrument loan and tuition and by participation in concerts and contests.

PROVIDING A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE COLN VALLEY RESIDENTS. A MEETING PLACE, CHILDRENS PARTIES, EDUCATIONAL, SPORTING AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.

To support and raise funds for St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Nympsfield. Recent activities include Christmas Fayre, Summer Fete, discos and a scooter event, in order to raise funds. Donations to the school included resources for a new classroom and contributions towards school trips.

THE VILLAGE HALL PROVIDES A MEETING PLACE FOR THE COMMUNITY

The Friends raises for the school to be spent in ways which enhance the education and experience of the children, such as providing sports equipment, assisting with school trips, or refurbishing the school grounds. We run events just for the children and other events which can also involve the local community. We are keen to ensure our events are fun as well as raising money for the school!

The provision from gifts legacies and fundraising activities of medical equipment and services for the benefit of the patients of the surgery at Stow-On-The-Wold not provided from state funds or by statutory authority.

A wide range of educational, cultural, sporting, walking, and social activities on a whole group and sub-group basis, mainly within Fairford and its surrounding area but also further afield on occasions.

The charity provides a venue for social and other functions including Pilates, Parish Council & other meetings, dog training, afternoon teas ,Young Farmers ,W.I. It also hosts the annual Daffodil weekend and Spring Fayre. It is also the venue for 2 flower shows .It is very well used but did suffer during Covid but has returned to normal now.

Battledown Friends Group (B.F.G.) is set up to:-give parents the opportunity to meet with other parentshelp parents share their worries and experiencesallow parents current and past, staff, friends and family to meet together socially with or without their childrenraise money for the centre which will benefit our children at Battledown now and in the future

A Christian based youth activity group ages 5-18 located in Gloucestershire which is part of a national organisation known as the Boys' Brigade.Activities include a weeks based indoor camp for Juniors aged 8-11 and an outdoor camp forsenior boys' aged 11-18. Band work and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme in also available.Ten pin bowling,football,swimming are as well.

To promote the musical education and development of young people and to support the provision of music tuition and performance in Swindon and the surrounding area.

Provision of Village Hall for the benefit of the residents of North Nibley and the neighbourhood, to improve social well being and welfare

We are a group of residents and family members whose mission it is to raise money to fund activities for the benefit & well-being of the residents at The Dean Neurological Centre, Gloucester. The Dean cares for people from 18 to 100 years old who have a wide range of conditions affecting their neurological function; from brain injuries, Parkinson's disease, through to multiple sclerosis & stroke.

Provision of meeting hall for residents of Eastington Parish

The Burland Parish Hall, granted charity status in 1915, provides a focal point in the small Cotswold village of Stanton, funded entirely by lettings and local support it provides a venue for Church activities, childrens activities, art and education, parish meeting room, rural cinema, charity functions, parties and celebrations, polling station, etc.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of choral and other music. This is done in three ways, Concerts, working with the local Community and Primary School and Choir Tours

The preservation and protection of good mental health by: -1. To raise awareness about suicide and the effects2. Provide peer support for those with poor mental health and those bereaved by suicide.3. To work with local organisations and bodies to promote good mental health4. To educate others of suicide risk factor

The provision of public worship services which include sung praise, prayer, the reading of the Scriptures and the preaching of God's Word. The observance of Communion and Baptism. Midweek Bible study & prayer meeting.

We aim to give young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun, based on the traditions and customs of the Royal Navy.

To raise money to benefit the children of Dinglewell Junior School.

The trustees job is to look after Longlevens Village Hall so that it is a pleasant clean and tidy place for groups or individuals to hire. We have regular users i.e. WI's, cubs, brownies and dancing classes. Also single hire for sales, quizzes, birthday and anniversary parties and plays. We have an entertainments license, but no alcohol licence. We hold a joint PPL/PRS licence.
