Lechlade Women's Institute is part of the Gloucestershire Federation of Women's Institutes. We provide women with educational opportunities, take part in a wide variety of activities and campaign on issues that matter to us and to our community

The charity maintains the small village hall for use by villagers and other local villages.

Educational grants to schools and individuals in Wotton under Edge.

Monument overlooking the Severn Valley on the edge of the Cotswold Escarpment open to the general public. Monument erected in memory of William Tyndale.

Three meetings a year to make grants to individuals and organisations to support education and training of persons aged 25 or under resident in the ecclesiastical parishes of Stonehouse and Cainscross Gloucestershire.

The charity operates solely in the Cheltenham & Gloucester area, it helps in three areas: 1. Providing free exercise & wellbeing classes for cancer patients, 2.Donates money to the bereavement charity Cruse for training of new & existing counsellors, 3. Provides free swimming lessons to Primary school children whose parents could not afford top up lessons over & above those provided by the school.

The Trustees meet twice yearly to allocate disbursements to individuals or organisations in need resident within the Ancient Parish of English Bicknor and the Parish of Staunton

In accordance with the terms of the Foundation Deed dated 31st March 1862, the Trustees meet annually to distribute the income received from the Trust Funds by way of appropriate grants to Clergy within the present and ancient Diocese of Gloucester.

Avening Women's Institute does this by organising speakers and demonstrations, craft sessions, and other training on topics of interest to its members. It also takes part in village activities as an organisation, which also promotes community integration.

Own and manage two one bedroom properties, renting them out to people in need.

Fund raising and support activities on behalf of Randwick C of E primary School.

Fundraising activities within school for example: Cake sales, Uniform Sales, Disco, Quiz night, BBQ

To provide facilities for sport & leisure activities

We continue to promote Cheltenham Minster St Mary's in the town and to help provide financial support for projects which the Parochial Church Council cannot afford. We also liaise with external organisations who carry out work on the Minster from time to time and make donations to bodies who improve the Minster, for example the Tower Bells.
