THE PROVISION OF SCOUTING IN THE 3RD GIDEA PARK SCOUT GROUP BASED AT ST MICHAELS CHURCH, MAIN ROAD, GIDEA PARK, ROMFORD

Redbridge Rainbow Community supports LGBT people who live, work, study or socialise in our borough. We arrange meet-ups for friendship and support. Provide training for local organisations on LGBT issues. We work with the local council, allies and partners so we can ensure Redbridge meets the needs of our diverse community.

Provision of housing

The charity runs fundraising events for a primary school. Activities include bazaars, quiz nights, inflatable afternoons, comedy nights, sales for the children and non-uniform days.

Supports & promotes Christian unity & mission by building relationship across denominations, traditions & streams of the Christian community. It supports Local Ecumenical Partnership churches, workplace chaplains, churches together groups, newer networks and coordinates the Bradwell Pilgrimage & Gathering. Facilitates other joint missional opportunities & work associated with such a committee.

The Essex Birdwatching Society exists to promote for the benefit of the public, conservation, education, knowledge and protection in relation to wild birds in the ceremonial County of Essex, including the areas of unitary authorities and in the London Boroughs of Barking, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.

We are a Scout group which includes Beavers, Cubs, Sea Scouts and Explorer Scouts. We fund raise to pay for the upkeep of our scout group headquarters and to give our young people as many opportunties to attend various scouting activities i.e. camping

Youth Club and Junior Youth Club, Bingo, Advise Surgery, Football, Social Events, Outings, Coffee Morning, Faith Groups, Senior Citzens groups. Play Group 5 days a week ages 2-5, Judo, Job Club, Computer Courses, Line Dancing. Briar Community Association operates from the Betty Strathern Centre Myrtle Road Harold Hill but also covers the whole of the Harold Hill Estate.

Working with children from 5years and 9 months to 14 years and 6 months in three sections. Beaver Scouts. 5years and 9 months to 8 years.Cub Scouts. 8 years to 10 years and 6 months.Scouts. 10 years and 6 months to 14 years and 6 months. We teach children to be self reliant, work as part of a team, and become good people.

The Charity?s main objectives are to reach out and provide support and aid to individuals who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress as a result of local or national disaster or by reason of their social and economic circumstances and to advance and promote the Sikh religion.

We are a school based organization with a mission to make Suttons Primary School a better place for children to learn. Parents of students work together with teachers to raise money for school supplies, sponsor school activities and events, and generally support the schools efforts.

We provide a unique service to people with life limiting illnesses, by organising a series of outings for them throughout their illness. Each applicant has their own ambassador who organises their outings and keeps in touch with the family.Our grants for music and sport give opportunities to young people who may not otherwise be able to afford to maximise their talent.

CHAOS provides free camping holidays for disadvantaged children who would not otherwise have one. It operates in East London and serves boroughs including Barking & Dagenham, Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets, Havering and Hackney. Recommendations for places on CHAOS holidays are usually made through the charity's links with schools, social services and other welfare groups.
