The principal activity is to promote and encourage ,horticulture, conservation and forestry for the public benefit and to improve and advance them in all branches and in all trades,crafts and professions with them in an exclusively charitable manner.Educational advancement in all the above by granting of bursaries.Promotion of the above to the public by holding of an annual show.

Offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families with young chidren, who are under stress. Volunteers visit families in their own homes, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.

We provide social, independent living and workskills opportunities for adults with learning disabilities at our mini cafe. In addition we run, a Youth Club for members up to the age of 18 and a Diversity Club which is a social club for members over the age of 25, a weekly Sports Club and Sewing Bee. We rely on voluntary involvement and volunteers play a key role is every aspect of our work.

The provision of a one to one mentoring service to young adults who are at risk of disengaging from their learning. Our aim is to improve their engagement in learning and the service is delivered mainly but not exclusively delivered in schools and can include support to the families of these young people. Mentor link operates in the Midlands and South Midlands area.

ATE is an educational trust which runs residential holiday camps called 'Superweeks' during the Christmas, Easter and summer school holidays. The children come from all over the UK and beyond. Young adult volunteers are trained by ATE to work with the children on Superweeks. The charity also engages in a limited amount of work with schools including residential courses and staff INSET

We aim to provide a programme of free complementary therapies plus ongoing support via workshops, self help groups and exercise classes for anyone with cancer in Herefordshire and surrounding counties to help them cope with the rigours of conventional treatment and support them on their journey towards living well with, and beyond cancer. We also offer support to their carers.

Severn Freewheelers provide a free courier service to the NHS in North Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to transport urgently needed items such as blood, drugs and samples. Ten emergency service bikes and three cars are available 365 days a year, with members working week days, evenings and weekends. Fleet riders & drivers hold Advanced Licences.

The objects of the charity are to provide almshouses for persons in need of assistance who are over fifty years of age and can live independently and look after themselves. Applicants must have been living in the City of Worcester and areas of Herefordshire for the two years immediately proceding their application.

Busy Bees is run by a voluntary parent committee and we are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.Busy Bees runs Preschool sessions for children aged 18 months - 5 years old. Busy Bees is open Monday to Friday, term time only. The business currently runs from a rented building at the Hive in Ledbury.

The Charity helps those who have served in the armed forces, enabling them to transition into civilian life by offering short term accommodation, accredited training skills, work experience and employment opportunities in the rural and construction sectors

The Conquest Theatre Trust presents theatrical activities to North Herefordshire and the surrounding area by: owning and operating a theatre, producing amateur plays, engaging professional productions and showing films. It also has a thriving youth section. It is notable in having no employees: actors, musicians, backstage, front of house and management staff are all volunteers.

The provision of regular public worship open to all as well as the provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work is undertaken including the visiting of the sick and the bereaved as well as the taking of religious assemblies in schools and activities for the young and other special needs groups. We are concerned with all aspects of the care and rehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury. We also provide help and support for the families and carers of those with acquired brain injury.
