Providing music events

The charity is a Church, with regular Sunday worship services, and various other meetings and conferences on an irregular basis.

Operates Friendship House, a leisure centre serving the elderly in the Hatfield, Hertfordshire area and providing comfortable surroundings for socialising, morning coffee/tea and subsidised lunches five days a week.

Lifetimes gives grants to necessitous people who reside in London and the Home counties. We work in partnership with chosen charities in our field of work. Current survivors of domestic violence, disabled children, ex veterans, homelessness, food banks and community pantries, local hospitals.

We advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and the appreciation of, the art and science of singing Barbershop Harmony in both chorus and quartet forms by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.This has included weekly rehearsals, National Competitions and public performances we have gained a number of new members.

The principal activity of the charitable company as stated in the Memorandum and Articles of Association is the provision, in the interests of social welfare, of the facilities for the study and appreciation of the arts for the inhabitants of Hertford and the surrounding area.

To provide for the advancement of education of students of Tring Park School who have entered the school fortraining in the art of dance.

The advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Trust may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world.

The Charity fosters the aims of The Scout Association to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities. The Scouting method is to give young people the opportunity to 'learn by doing' in partnership with adults.

The Redbourn Charities offers accommodation in almshouses, and maintains these and the grounds. It manages its investments in order to achieve this main activity, but also uses the money for charitable purposes for the benefit of poor persons resident in the (ancient) Parish of Redbourn, and gives an annual donation to Redbourn Care Group and the remainder for certain other prescribed purposes.

Our vision is to engage, promote and develop young people and the youth culture in Bishops Stortford. We will do this through establishing a youth cafe in the town centre which will play host to open mic nights, mentoring and community building activities. All those aged 11-18 are welcome in the cafe, free of charge

We run these non-medical rehab groups:2 social and Rehab sessions, 1 for under 65s one for anyone having had a Stroke or carer. These sessions work on building confidence and concentration ,a speech and language course for members with dyspasia; and 2 weekly chair based exercise classes.We also have monthly outings in the community. We also offer home visits to assess needs.

Provision of Pre-School education to childcare age 2 to rising 5

To advance the education of pupils of Rickmansworth School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education in the school.

Playgroup for infants of nursery age.

A rural Pre-school and nursery providing Early Years Foundation Stage Education for children 2 1/2 years to school age who live in Knebworth Parish and the surrounding area. Our income from the LEA is topped up by the payment of fees for those children not in receipt of LEA funding and the overall shortfall in funding is supplemented by fundraising events organised by the Management Committee.

Our main activities are Sunday services, morning and evening, with classes for children and young people; midweek house groups, evangelistic open-air activities, Childrens' Club, youth group, Parents & Toddlers together with other activities designed to promote the Christian faith.As charity trustees, we have each considered the Charity Commission's guidelines on Public Benefit.

Religious activities

In Sues Name has three main aims.To raise funds for research into the treatment of brain tumours.To increase public awareness about this terrible disease and the urgent need for well-funded, sustainable research.To bring together families and friends who have lost a loved one to brain cancer, or those who are still supporting them.

Promoting in the Parish the whole mission of the Church

Home St Albans is a church that meets every Sunday morning and evening for worship and teaching. Our current average attendance is approximately 250 people. Alongside the Sunday service we also run kids church. In addition we hold small groups throughout the week. We support a number of (local and global) initiatives through financial and practical giving.

Our charity advances the Christian Faith. We achieve this goal by holding meetings to encourage Christians through the preaching of the word. We
