A friendly rowing club open to all, providing community amateur rowing facilities.

The objective of the charity is to provide a safe, drug and alcohol free recreational facility for the young people of Berkhamsted and the surrounding area. The charity runs the Swan Youth Centre, the facilities of which include a large room in which events can be held, pool table, audio equipment, TV, games console, and bar selling soft drinks and snacks. The objectives of the charity are to provide and maintain Almshouses in Hitchin and district and to provide for the general charitable needs of local people.

The Church engages in a range of activities for the purpose of the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist demonination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdon and/or other parts of the world.

Much Hadham PCC promotes in the parish the whole mission of the Church of England: pastoral, evangelistic; social and ecumenical. We enable people to live out their Christian faith through worship and prayer, learning about the Gospel, the povision of pastoral care for people in lviing in the parish; missionary and outreach work and an open approach to baptisms, wedding and funerals.

By offering grants the Charity encourages an appreciation of the Arts in Tring and the surrounding areas through a variety of performing arts, theatrical productions and artistic excellence, both amateur and professional. It also aims to provide opportunities for volunteers, particularly young people, to be trained in and gain practical experience in a variety of theatrical technical skills.

Regular public worship, pastoral work, visiting the sick and bereaved, teaching of Christianity, and supporting other charities

We provide education and recreation for children aged 2.5 to 5 years old during school term time. We aim to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which children are given the opportunity to develop to their full potential, at their own individual pace, with staff encouragement.

The promotion of animal welfare in the Branch area, principally by rehoming unwanted / rescued animals and providing financial assistance for veterinary treatments to those on means tested benefits.

The Association runs Grovehill Community Centre which provides meeting space for a wide range of groups.

Replaced 5 old pens with 11 pens and one large cat unit, which comply with new legislation for boarding catteries, keeping in front of any proposed future legislation on animal accommodation for animal rescue groups. Commenced replacements for the remaing facilities. We have continued with our ever important spaying and neutering work and education on animal welfare.

To advance education for public benefit in particular but not exclusively in the archaeology, natural history and social history of the Borough of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire as told through its heritage, landscapes and stories of the people within the Borough through the provision of a museum and information service and the provision of exhibitions, conferences, workshops and other events

Provision of canal trips on boats with full disabled access and of other facilities especially for individuals or groups with, or supporting people with, a disability or in any way disadvantaged. Based on the Grand Union Canal at Nash Mills, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

The charity distributes its annual income by way of grants or loans to individuals, schools, clubs and other organisations living or operating in LETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY to support need in education, training, health, disability, the arts, sport and recreation.

Home St Albans is a church that meets every Sunday morning and evening for worship and teaching. Our current average attendance is approximately 250 people. Alongside the Sunday service we also run kids church. In addition we hold small groups throughout the week. We support a number of (local and global) initiatives through financial and practical giving.

A pre-school provision for children from the age of 2 years to 5 years, which aims to provide a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment.

We are an evangelical church based in St Albans. We aim to share the good news about Jesus Christ, and help Christians to become committed followers of Jesus Christ. We arrange various activities to support these aims. Many of these are based in St Albans, at our church building. We also support a number of individuals and organisations with the same mission as us in other places.

Trustees' Meetings were held during the year, A number of fund raising activities have been held, Most recently a number of grant applications have been submitted. The major challenge facing us is still fund-raising to continue the building work at the School in Zambia.

A Pre School for children from age 2 up to Nursery or Reception. The setting is in Bayford Memorial Hall.

TO ASSIST WITH GRANTS FOR THE STRUCTURAL REPAIR OF OLD BUILDINGS (BUILT BEFORE 1875) WHICH ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO CHURCHES AND THEIR CONTENTS IN THE COUNTIES OF BEDFORDSHIRE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, HERTFORDSHIRE AND NORTHAMPTONSHIRE. THERE IS NO TERRITORIAL RESTRICTION IN RESPECT OF CONSERVATION OF MONUMENTS AND MONUMENTAL BRASSES. GRANTS ARE OCCASIONALLY MADE TOWARDS PUBLICATION

The charity provides a range of services which vary in their liturgical style including Children's Praise which seeks to reach out to younger people. Some members of our parish due to illness and age. Pastoral care is provided by the Vicar and the Lay Readers, prayer and the celebration of communion can be celebrated in either their homes or in hospital. Holy Saviour encourages mission to all.
