Leaside Under Fives Kindergarten is a committee led non-profit making pre-school, which was founded in 1994 to provide excellent Early Years education. We are able to accommodate 38 children per session, aged from two and a half to five years old. The Kindergarten runs during school term times and is open five days a week.

The charity operates a winter night shelter, providing overnight accommodation and food for rough sleepers and the homeless. It works, year round, to support users with other aspects of their lives. These include drug, alcohol and mental health issues, financial guidance and "move on" housing options.

We are a community-based boxing charity that delivers inclusive boxing and fitness classes for people of all ages. We welcome everyone, regardless of gender, religion, background, ability, or disability. Our purpose is to support and strengthen our community by providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment. We work closely with young people and individuals facing challenges every day.

The charity is engaged in general charitable activities in the UK and abroad for the needy and underprivileged including fundraising for the development/enhancement of clinics, hospitals, school buildings, childrens special education needs, alleviation of child blindness, grants for medical and education fees, alleviation of food poverty, advancement of medical research and community support.

Running charitable events for the local community in the Welwyn Garden City including holding of prayers meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivities, producing or distributing literature to enlighten the general public on Islam. Our aims and objectives are to help residents of Watford, Three Rivers and surroundingareas who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by the provision of furnitureand accessories and to provide vocational training, support and work experience forthose who volunteer at the scheme.

To conserve, protect and rehabilitate the habitat and waters that constitute the River Thames catchment, for the benefit of all indigenous species (including Atlantic salmon and migratory trout).To advance the education of the public in the understanding of river environments on watercourses throughout the River Thames catchment.

We support and empower deaf children and young adults from birth up to the age 30, and their families, who are predominantly based in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, through the provision of:Recreational and leisure activities; training opportunities; one to one and group support; Deaf Awareness, Sign Language and other courses.

We deliver festivals and competitions and our programme develops young home grown coaches in their personal development on the school/community coaching pathway. Stevenage is renowned for a low aspiration and we have continued to develop our delivery to enable, empower and provide increased opportunities for our young people.
