For the benefit of the wider Christian ministry and fellowship

The charity operates to provide scholarship and bursary support for pupils at Berkhamsted Collegiate School. It also makes awards to pupils of the school for educational and adventure travel.

Through fund raising activities we raise money to improve on facilities within the school.

The objects of the Charity are to advance the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of Hormead with Wyddial in the diocese of St Albans principally through the maintenance, upkeep and improvement of St Nicholas' Church and churchyard and their amenities and through support to the cost of the ministry and mission in the parish.

The Group offers the usual range of Scouting Activities for Beavers, Cubs & Scouts.

Amateur and community orchestral society, classical music

1. Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2. Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of puils attending it.3. provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items of education at the school (not provided from statutory funds) as the committee shall from time to time determine.

Promotion and advancement of the arts through a programme of Talks, Outings, volunteering, recording local artefacts, and financial support of the arts in local schools and other organisations. In furtherance of this purpose the Society shall have power to arrange lectures and organise appropriate activities including visits to houses, collections, museums and other places of relevant interest.

We give members the opportunity to sing together in a community choir, perhaps for the first time, as well as explore repertoire (from classical, world and folk to gospel and pop) that maintains the interest of the more experienced singers. Healthy use of the voice is encouraged, and the basics of reading music is taught. Performances are given in a variety of venues across the local area.

EDUCATION - THE CHARITY IS A SCHOOL ASSOCIATION AND UNDERTAKES FUND RAISING ACTIVITY TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF ST JOSEPH'S SCHOOL

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for training and competing in amateur boxing.

Amateur theatre group producing at least 5 staged productions a year, including 1 outdoor show. High involvement of local community and fund raising for loacl charities.

The Charity provides opportunities for members to become involved in all aspects of drama through the annual production of two full-length plays and a revue of sketches and songs. The Charity also runs a programme of theatre visits and playreadings and gives members opportunities to become involved in direction, marketing, business skills, and scenery construction.

The charity organises and runs events within the school environment and supports school activities, which raises funds for a wide variety of adopted charities

The charity's purpose is to manage the Village Hall. In that respect it raises funds through various charitable events throught the year and through the letting of the hall. The funds raised are used for the upkeep and repair of the Hall.

The choir seeks to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events.

WE PROVIDE CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGE OF 4 AND 14 WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN VARIOUS SKILLS. THEY EARN BADGES UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THESE SKILLS. WE MEET ONCE A WEEK DURING TERM TIME.

Provide a social centre for the general benefit of the residents of the community.

Amateur chamber orchestra

To promote the Christian faith and to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in the town of Bishop's Stortford and the surrounding area, primarily by providing an annual event in the summer.

To provide Christian ministry through a team of chaplains/Street Angels to those who live, work and visit Watford.

The objectives of the charity are to advance the education of the public in the appreciation of orchestral music by the provision of public performances.

Facilitating sporting activities in the locality by the maintenance of and management of an all weather sports pitch at Hockerill Anglo-European College.
