Provision of hospice care for life-limited children and their families

The Hospice aims to provide timely holistic care. This care may be provided to address needs which are; physical, emotional, social (Inclusive of environmental and diversity challenges people face) and spiritual in order to enhance the quality of life of each individual patient and those important to them.

The charities Objects shall be relieving pain and sickness for the benefit of the public by assisting in the provision of emergency medical services and equipment, in particular the provision of an Air Ambulance Service or other emergency transportation primarily in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

Cornwall VSF is an umbrella body for all community and voluntary organisations working or based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It tries to act as the voice of the local third sector and provides advocacy, brokerage, communication and development services for charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

Girlguiding South West England provides a range of activities and opportunities for girls and young women aged from 5 years to adult in Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey.

Provision of activities for children and young people including those at risk of social exclusion. Activities include sports, arts, music, educational support and other opportunities. IT IS THE JOB OF THE TRUST TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE WILDLIFE OF THE ISLANDS AND THE SEA, AND CONSERVE OR RESTORE THE HABITATS, LANDSCAPE AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PUBLIC.

IT SEEKS TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL, EMPOWERING AND AFFIRMING SUPPORT FOR PRISONERS AND EX-PRISONERS BOTH PRIOR TO DISCHARGE AND ON RELEASE, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY SUCCESSFULLY RE-INTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY, REALISE THEIR POTENTIAL AND NOT RETURN TO PRISON.

The charity supports Deaf and hard of hearing people in Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and parts of Devon.We provide BSL interpreters, Deaf communication support, and expert information, advice and guidance on d/Deaf-related issues. Our services include Deaf Awareness training and advocacy in health, mental health and social care.

The preservation, operation, maintenance and protection of the 1895 sailing trawler Pilgrim of Brixham BM45, which is of historic and maritime importance. Pilgrim is a member of the UK National Historic Fleet.

HYP provide informal education programmes for young people wha are or at risk of becoming NEET.We support YP in making positive life choices, gaining nationally recognised qualifications and moving onto employment or higher education.
