It employs paid staff and volunteers to provide specialist and generalist advice respectively to clients who access the Bureau.The Charity aims to be a first point of contact for people suffering from all sorts of discrimination.

Grace Christian Trust was formed in 2010. In its first year, the trust purchased a large office building on an extensive site with the purpose of donating it to a local church who intend to build a new centre to serve the town. This site will be donated to the church if and when they are granted appropriate planning permission by Tandridge District Council.

The objective of the charity is to provide affordable residential accommodation for elderly people in need who have a link with Canterbury. The charity provides independent flats or cottages occupied at low rents. The accommodation is provided at St John's Hospital, Northgate, Canterbury (31 places), the other at St Nicholas' Hospital, Harbledown, Canterbury (10 places).
