The Joseph Salmon Trust is a small charity who offer financial assistance to people, who are in need, in the Huddersfield, Halifax and Mirfield areas, whose child has died.

To distribute small grants to young people living in Shelley going on to Higher Education or Apprenticeships

We are a Christian Faith Community which provides a place of belonging & support for those who come into Huddersfield Mission during the week. We offer weekly worship, & also seek to offer pastoral care & to meet the educational needs of our congregation. We welcome anyone who comes in off the street & offer hospitality.

The main activities of the fund is used for charity events.

Parents come with their babies and toddlers twice a week. Activities include play, dressing up, story time, singing and art and craft activities.

Provides activities to promote the mental, physical and spiritual growth of young people between the ages of 6 and 25 years old

The award of grants to promote the education of persons under the age of 25 years who or whose parents are resident in the former County Borough of Dewsbury.

Our Volunteer Team broadcasts Radio Programmes made by ourselves to Patients of the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, under the auspices of our National Organisation, Hospital Broadcasts Association.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY: 2.1 DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL 2.2 ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

We promote awareness of drugs, alcohol and tobacco to children and young families. We do this in an innovative way by providing roadshows in the community and special events in schools we call "Niteclub Xperience". These events use music and lighting to create dynamic and exciting events where we present the information in audio and video format on large video walls.

To support and promote the advancement of education, training and enterprise in the UK and Africa in ways that make a significant difference to the lives of people of all ages and gender, who are struggling with situations of poverty, deprivation and health issues.To share some of the practical advances of technology of the UK with a developing world as a means of accelerating their growth. .

Charity operates from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. We make donations to allow able bodied and disabled young people to visit religious places. We also make donations to other charities and provide buildings and human resources.
