We fundraise by setting up stalls to sell various items to raise money.We also sell raffle tickets for the charity. We also auction items online through social media to generate income. We also hold small events and gatherings to raise money.In the month of Ramadan we sell cakes. Cash donations are collected.We operate from Kirklees, Leeds, Bradford, Rochdale areas.

Established in January 2014, Elliot's Footprint helps families to rebuild their lives after the sudden and unexpected loss of a child. Our activities include online information for bereaved families and their friends, support for schools, fundraising for more bereavement support workers and working with statutory bodies to improve their interactions with bereaved families.

To promote the development of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in Yorkshire by: Offering bursaries to trainees. Promoting educational & public events & colloborating with other organisations eg Opera North, Northern School of Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy.

Education and training of young people age 12 to 18 using the customs of the Royal Navy in many subjects and the aim is to produce good and upright citizens for the future.

Our charity gives grants for household goods, holidays to aid recuperation after illness, vouchers for food and clothing and the purchase of medical aids.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

The Society organises an annual Music Festival of mostly competitive classes held in 3 or 4 venues in the seaside town of Hornsea over a period of either 3 or 4 days. It is held during the first week of July. Fund raising social events such as Coffee Mornings and Garden Parties may be held at other times throughout the year.

The aims of SACK are 1.To encourage the members to work collaboratively, share resources & provide higher quality social, welfare, educational and health services. 2. Provide a single point for consultation for agencies who wish to improve or increase services to the community. 3. To act as a watchdog for agencies who have responsibilities for providing services to the communities.

TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN WEST YORKSHIRE AND BEYOND, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF RUGBY; ALSO THE RELIEF OF DISABLED PEOPLE RESIDENT IN WEST YORKSHIRE AND BEYOND BY BRINGING PEOPLE INTO CONTACT WITH THE SPORT.

WRAT supports former or existing members of 269 (West Riding) Battery RA who fall on hard times. It makes grants to 269 Battery in aid of Battery social activities. It publishes, from time to time, regimental histories of former artillery units in the West Riding of Yorkshire and donates copies of these to local libraries.

FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES MAINLY THROUGH SCHOOLS FAYRES, DISCOS AND SPONSORED EVENTS. ALL THE FUNDS ARE TO BENEFIT THE PUPILS AT NIELDS SCHOOL

The charity researches and publishes books about Public Transport in the City of Leeds and surrounding areas. It also restores historic public transport from Leeds. It assists other societies with information requests. The Society also holds regular social meetings at which speakers give talks on public transport related topics. 4 newsletters to members are published each year.

To help keep the Calder and Hebble canal open by various activities, also we run a small trip boat which we take to different events on the waterways.

We have a wide repertoire of differing styles of music: popular, modern, madrigal, traditional, folk, African, Estonian, Welsh and Spanish. We sing regularly at weddings and fund raising events as well as celebratory concerts and musical evenings. Each Christmas we enjoy a full programme of carol singing, plus a varied collection of carols with other entertainers at our Christmas concert.

HANG ON TO A DREAM IS A REGIONAL CHARITY BASED IN OTLEY AND COVERING ALL THE YORKSHIRE AREA. HANG ON TO A DREAM IS THE FIRST REGIONAL CHARITY FOR TERMINALLY ILL AND SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE.

To encourage interest in road safety, to improve driving/riding standards and to help drivers/riders pass the organization's advanced driving/riding test.

Over the past many years, we have been providing local communities, help assistant and supports in Community Translation, Housing & Benefits Advice, especially supporting unemployed and disabled people providing in South Asian Music activities lyrics/ musical composition's and training/workshops. We now also have qualified Volunteer staff in{CBT} Cognitive Behaviour Therapy helping people most.

A charitable Motorcycle Group affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists which aims to:improve the standard of motorcycle riding on the roads; improve road safety or lead to greater road safety or the promotion of road safety. This is achieved by volunteers coaching motorcyclists to pass nationally recognised advanced tests in the West Yorkshire area.
