Spires is a center for homeless and disadvantaged people. We aim to provide options that allow service users to gain stability in their lives. Services include a rough sleeper's space, showers, clothing, food, women's group, drug and alcohol work, adult learning, mental health support, optician, nurse, dentist, chiropodist, resettlement, tenancy support, outreach, advocacy and emotional support.

Our vision is to raise aspiration, reduce isolation, create stronger relationships and empower young people, their families and the wider community. SYCT meets the needs of the local community through the provision of a wide range of activities focusing on education and training, personal development, support for disadvantaged groups, sport and the arts.

The charity operates After School Clubs and Holiday Play Schemes for children. In addition we are committed to the training and development of our staff and volunteers and to the dissemination of good practice within the sector. We offer volunteering opportunities to local people and provide routes to further training and paid work.

The charity runs Doorstep Library projects sending volunteers to homes of children in disadvantaged areas to help them enjoy reading, read well, and to lend books. Parents are encouraged to contribute to their children's education, they are supported to access local services designed to help them and their children. The charity runs Doorstep Libraries in London.

We use music to help people who have experienced homelessness make positive changes in their lives, to advance the education of the public in the arts in particular but not exclusively in the art of opera. The principal activity of the Charity during the year was the advancement of the religion of Islam andthe education of Muslim children in accordance with the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.Other activities included the relief of poverty, the provision of funeral services to the Muslimcommunity, and the provision of facilities for community development in the South London area.

The Loughborough Junction Action Group works to improve the environment of Loughborough Junction area of south London and the lives of the people who live there. The group brings the community together through a variety of activities such as festivals, neighbourhood clean-up days, community gardening and food growing and arts events.

We are a frontline service that collects and organises community donations of all kinds which we then distribute to those facing acute hardship in London. Founded in 2020, we are now one of the main points of support for those seeking asylum, the homeless, domestic violence survivors & many other groups.
