The Buddhist Group works towards assisting members and non-members in spiritual understanding, by holding weekly meetings, by having day & week-end courses and teachings from various teachers.

The WUBC enables the facilitation and provision of commemorative events, artwork, music, talks, research and educational resources focused on the history of the weavers risings of the 1820s in Lancashire. Specifically we organise; annual commemorative events; archival research; educational materials; talks & guided walks; networking & collaborations with local community, arts & heritage groups.

To collect, conserve, restore and display fire appliances, uniforms, medals and equipment relating to the Fire and Rescue Service on Merseyside and to present to the visitors to the Heritage Centre its history and contribution to the local community.To maintain a digital archive of the fire history of Merseyside including the fire stations, personnel, appliances and equipment.

To help needy Jewish people when in financial and ill health difficulties.

We are a group of volunteers called Colne in Bloom. Our aim is to keep our town looking alive with floral displays throughout the town. We plant towers, barrier troughs and hanging baskets through the main road of Colne and generally keep everywhere tidy. We raise money by fundraising namely tombola stalls. We get local primary schools involved in the gardening side of our volunteering work.

We are developing a program of engage vulnerable young people overcome some of the negative impact they Face. We envisage youth sessions incorporating Music,recording of Music, performance in a club setting from communities. Community Gardening, youth activities, carpentry and school referrals for work experience to challenge vulnerable people's thinking producing a positive outcome.
