The activities of the organisation include: translation and interpretation; provision of information, advice and advocacy on health, education, training, employment, housing and welfare benefits. WHH also sign-posts and refers its service-users to specialist providers, as well as accompanying these service-users so as to translate, interpret, advocate and support them. .

Wigan Civic Trust seeks to stimulate Public Interest in the area;to promote high standards of planning and architecture,and to secure the preservation,conservation,development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest. We have members meetings with speakers on many different topics, and committee meetings where we look at local planning applications.

RCP runs a weekly soup kitchen for the homeless , and poverty stricken families. They are provided with a safe environment to come and have a hot meal served by volunteers.RCP aims to provide counselling sessions for any member of the community who is facing issues in their lives, this providing them with the necessary tools to overcome these issues.

We are a group of adults connected to Holland Moor Primary School. We are parents, ex parents or members of the local community. We meet regularly to organise fund raising activities/events and to promote other fund raising procedures. We aim to provide a range of extra curricular activities for children attending the school or in the wider but fairly immediate community.

To provide financial assistance to members in times of need due to injury or sickness. Financial assistance is also available to aid dependents of members when a member passes away.

To provide, or assist to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities for the inhabitants of the Parish of Hornby with Farleton and the surrounding neighbourhood thereof. The facilities shall be available to all members of the public at large.This charity owns the village institute & cottage.Charity 1163973 finances all the activities of the trust

Preston Mela Trust is a South asian Fair organised annually on Avenham Park Preston. Between 8,000 to 9,000 people attend this family Event which showcases Soth Asian culrture in all itsforms from food and fashion to music and entertainment. It promotes community cohesion and good relations between all People of Preston and surrounding areas.

Distributes biscuits & chocolates to residents in Bolton-By-Bowlan at Christmas time-restricted to persons over 65 years of age & limited to one person per household. Special donation to school, church & village hall to commemorate Queen's golden jubilee.

Money is provided for students after school leaving age when they are persuing further or higher education or an apprenticeship.
