EHSU exists to represent Edge Hill University students effectively as well as provide cultural, social and sporting opportunities to help our students develop personal and life skills.

CancerCare is a unique local charity dedicated to helping local families affected by the impact of cancer and other life limiting conditions across North Lancashire and South Lakeland. We provide a wide range of free professional services including a number of psychological, complementary and creative therapies.

Preston Youth Zone is a large scale open access youth facility in the heart of the city. A brand new build, the Youth Zone will be open 7 days a week and offer up to 20 activities per session for just a £5 annual membership fee and 50p entry. The Youth Zone plans to open in Summer 2025.

The Stonyhurst Foundation provides financial support for scholarships, bursaries, grants, loans, prizes, maintenance allowances or other financial assistance to pupils and prospective pupils of Stonyhurst; and the provision of any other financial support for Stonyhurst, or the current or prospective pupils of Stonyhurst, as the trustees in their absolute discretion shall think fit.

Renewal North West is a Christian charity set up to help the long term unemployed break down barriers that stop them from gaining employment such as addiction, homelessness, lack of education and opportunity. We provide work experience and skills development as well as accommodation enabling people to rebuild their lives. We also provide low cost household items to those who need them.

Provides religious services to Muslims living within Greater Manchester & outskirts.

The Charity operates: to promote community participation in healthy recreation; to provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need for such facilities; and to advance the education of the public.

MASH works with female sex workers to promote sexual health, wellbeing and personal safety whilst offering choice, support and empowerment to promote individual positive life changes

To support high quality patient care, focusing on areas not fully supported by exchequer funds such as improvements to the Hospital environment and better facilities. As a large teaching hospital, the Trust also has links with the local universities, and another important aim of the charity is providing financial aid to support and encourage our clinicians in new research projects.
