Haydock Male Voice Choir is a 60+ strong choir which sings to entertain audiences; support charities in fund raising & for the individual pleasure and education of its members. It operates from St. Helens within a 25 mile radius, but also to other destinations within the UK as well as occasional trips abroad.

We have organised Concerts, Music competition, Store Collections, Santa Sleigh collections and a Car Boot Sale

The objectives of the charity are to promote the education of persons of the Christian Faith in theology and social sciences both theoretical and practical having regard to the principles of Josephine Butler

The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance, or by giving or taking part in such musical events as the Committee recommends to the Choir, or competing at Music Festivals at the discretion of the Musical Director. Three Dogs support people who are struggling with the cost of living crisis, are on benefits or low income or experiencing homelessness AND have responsibility for a dog or dogs. We provide food , bedding and equipment for dogs and help their people to make an initial consultation appointment with their vet to ensure proper care. We educate on welfare and good practice with caring for dogs.

Amateur Dramatic Society. Promoting general education of the public in all aspects of drama.

We hold various fund raising events throughout the year to enable us to assist local, national and international charities and organisations either directly or through the international organisation known as Rotary International.

Switch provides educational and recreational activities for children and young people in a range of community settings in the Blackburn with Darwen area. Our activities are largely delivered by trained community based volunteers and generally take place in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays.

The activities of Heysham Church of the Nazarene are the advancement of the Christian faith, by way of being a loving, caring,dynamic Church empowered by the Holy Spirit, with a passion for the lost and hurting and seeing their lives being transformed from brokenness to wholesome Christlikeness. The Churches Together in Penwortham Foodbank main operation is the running of a weekly foodbank, the Penwortham Foodbank. Its objective is the relief of financial hardship amongst the people of Penwortham and surrounding area by providing emergency food, toiletries and household items to people in need, including signposting to relevant information and other advisory services

To improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of Halsall without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of:(a) a village hall for use by the inhabintants, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation(b) a recreation ground for use by the inhabitants

Local fundraising activities and events to promote and raise awareness of mental wellbeing to the general publicand, in particular, young people aged between 11-16.

We provide premises for use as a Unitarian Church and Sunday School. A wide range of groups have access to our facilities.
