Fundraising for school and other related charities

A charity providing specialist care and treatment for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs, with the aim to rehabilitate them when fit and healthy back into the wild.

WE ENGAGE IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES AND GENERAL COUNSELLING. RELIEVING POVERTY BY PROVIDING ADVICE ON SEEKING EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION/TRAINING, DEBT, AND OTHER FINANCE-RELATED ISSUES. The WLD PTFA provides a range of events throughout the school year. The ages of the children that we cater to are 3 years up to 11 years. The events that we hold for the children are discos, craft activities, breakfast with santa. We offer many other activities for the whole family to come along to and enjoy these include, family quiz and bingo nights, music festivals, summer and Christmas fairs.

The Trust has been set up to improve facilities and services for seriously ill children and their families in local hospitals to make their stay more pleasant and conducive to family needs.Fund raising events are held throughout the year to enable the Trust to raise a surplus of funds to be used to facilitate the improvement in quality of family rooms and bereavement services in local hospitals.

Women's Institute activities.

To support the educational work and charitable purposes of the William Hulme's Grammar School Foundation.

The study, advancement,improvement development and maintenance of public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals, paticularly choral works, both classical and modern.

Lancaster Footlights is a thriving amateur drama group which is based at Lancaster Grand Theatre. They first started performing in the 1920's and purchased the Grand in 1950 to save it from demolition. Over the years the theatre has been progressively restored and it is now regularly used by many community groups and a wide range of professional acts.

Parent Teacher Association charity set up to raise funds for School equipment and activities

We are the PTFA of a Primary School that raise funds to support costs to enhance the pupils learning, curriculum activites and resources. We do this for example by subsidising costs for families, resources for outdoor learning, ipads, visitors etc. We raise these funds by holding events throughout the year during school day or evenings and all these events are held on the school premises.

The club generally meets weekly on a Monday evening to participate in various activities which aid the development of our members who tend to have an interest in agriculture and the environment. Our motto is fun, learning and achievement. Membership age is currently 10-28 years old. The club is also affiliated to Lancashire Federation of YFC's and the National Federation - NFYFC.

Support to individuals and local organisations who work with underprivileged young people.

Scouting

The objective of the Stanah School PTFA is to raise funds for the school in order to advance the education of pupils at the school. We aim to achieve this through: developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school; and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Social,educational and recreational activities for Sawley villagers and adjacent parishes.

The Lancaster Church of the Nazarene promotes the following activities,Sunday Morning Services 10.45am Special Church Services, celebrations and events to mark key occasions in the Christian calendar eg: Christmas, Easter, Weddings and Funerals.Mid week coffee morning.Rent out the building and facilities to other Christian organisations.

To encourage the development of young people in Stalybridge and Tameside to achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, so that they can take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens, achieved by providing an enjoyable scheme of progressive training based on the scout association vision Skills for Life guided by adult leadership.

Training young people in service and citizenship in the traditions of The Royal Navy.

To provide financial support for poor and deserving persons aged 50 or over living in Caton, Lancashire

Affiliated to Girl Guiding(UK) for training and activities for girls and young women aged 5 - 26

Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The LDSSF started over 74 years ago as an annual event bringing local schools together for concert performances. The festival develops annual programmes for KS1 and KS2 pupils. The content of the programmes look at the advancement of education, arts, culture, heritage and mental wellbeing of children, with the benefits of singing and music making. The festival is inclusive - able and disabled.
