We have 1 drop-in, Barnoldswick Give out leaflets information put in touch with who can help if we cant. Have outings regularly ie lunches, day trips etc. Hold Christmas & new parties, take part in fetes etc.

Friends of St Laurence Church, Chorley, aim to bind Church and Community together. 2020 was a challenging year however we maintained communications with the Community by issuing newsletters and emails to Friends; arranging a series of Concerts (curtailed); producing a book, 'Chorley, St Laurence', The story of a Parish Church; and maintaining a Website and Social Media platforms.

The LDSSF started over 74 years ago as an annual event bringing local schools together for concert performances. The festival develops annual programmes for KS1 and KS2 pupils. The content of the programmes look at the advancement of education, arts, culture, heritage and mental wellbeing of children, with the benefits of singing and music making. The festival is inclusive - able and disabled.

The object of the Friends is to preserve and protect St James the Less Church for the benefit of the public as a place of worship and for such other charitable purposes as the Trustees deem appropriate. As such, the Friends are a secular organisation which works closely with the Parochial Church Council to ensure that the church and the community around it are preserved for future generations.

Organise and run family-friendly events and activities, to support, enhance and benefit the pupils who attend Woodplumpton St Annes CE School. The PTFA fundraises to enable key resources and equipment to be purchased, as well as providing educational and fun experiences to build the strong school community at the centre of the school's ethos.

Anastasia Days provides tailored, memorable high quality day out based experiences to help advance the emotional recovery of young people between the age of 6 to 16 who have recently encountered illness, abuse, disability, bereavement or other significant trauma in the North of England.

We provide and assist in the maintenance of East Pines Park for recreation and sports in the interests of improving the conditions of life for residents and visitors in and around the East Pines Park area. Activities provided include, gardening, litter picking, fund raising and sports coaching.

Classical Yoga Teaching

To advance the religion of Islam for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings,lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, the provision and maintenance of places of publicreligious worship by persons professing the religion of Islam.

Fundraising event throughout the year such as Summer Barbeque & Christmas fair which creates funds for extra items in the school. This year we've have supported general classroom resources as well as some items such as shelving, a white board, PE equipment and a sound system for the hall.
