We work to advance education of pupils at schools in Ankoma, Ghana and England, by supporting children from Ankoma to visit England on an educational and cultural trip. This brings children from both cultures together to create educational and cultural bonds, linking schools, teachers and pupils in a spirit of sharing and educational learning.

A Scout Group used in the education and training of children in the ways of Scouting and it's principles.

The Friends of Smithills Hall, working in partnership with Bolton council, seek to enhance and preserve the attractions of Smithills Hall, a building of architectural and historic interest open to the public. The Friends undertake fundraising activities and provide volunteers to work at the Hall as guides and in other capacities.

To advance all aspects of the education of pupils attending Balshaw's C of E High School Leyland by developing effective relationships between staff parents &others associated with school. Engaging in activities/providing facilities/equipment to support school & advance education of pupils not ordinarily provided by the Local Education Authority. Support appropriate local charities
