The GNDR's activities centre around the collaborative action in support of implementing the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) including the Views from the Frontline (VFL) initiative which produces reports of progress. The HFA was adopted in 2005 at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction held in Hyogo, Japan, to substantially reduce the loss of lives and livelihoods caused by disasters.

SWAN (Southern Women's Aid Network) was founded by Saiqa Ali BEM and is led and operated by women. SWAN works with other national and international NGOs and is a recognised provider of food aid in London and abroad. SWAN provides food and other essential aid to individuals and families in need through its ongoing and emergency local and international aid projects.

We provide financial & emotional support as well as practical advice & updates on research innovations, promote and fund research & education for medical professionals.

The Foundation's mission is to promote the advancement and research, including publication, of marine and maritime archaeology with particular but not exclusive focus on the Eastern Mediterranean with an emphasis on Lebanon, Syria and Cyprus. The Foundation also supports safeguarding and promoting the protection of underwater cultural heritage (UCH).

The Alexis and Anne-Marie Habib Foundation seeks to identify bright, academically talented, disadvantaged high school and university students in Lebanon and to provide them with long term financial support so that they can maximise their educational potential.
