The charity delivered child protection training and governance training (online, with assessment), reduced pricing for professional conferences and advisory services, emergency planning management, access to ECIS research, and funding (grants and fellowships). The charity launched a free global community platform for educators worldwide, as a public benefit.

The David Nott Foundation provides surgeons and medical professionals with the skills they need to provide relief and assistance in conflict and natural disaster zones around the world. The GNDR's activities centre around the collaborative action in support of implementing the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) including the Views from the Frontline (VFL) initiative which produces reports of progress.
