FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE IN NEED IN LEICESTER AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, WHO ARE HOMELESS, ROUGH SLEEPING OR VULNERABLY HOUSED BY PROVIDING FOOD, CLOTHING, SUPPLIES AND SIGNPOSTING TO RELEVANT INFORMATION AND ADVISORY SERVICES.

Religious body practicing the religion of Spiritualism.Teaching circles and services together with demonstrations of mediumship.We are the Associated Body of the Spiritualist National Union.We also practice spiritual healing.

Actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

We offer prayer facilities for men and women.Our Masjid is opened for daily prayers on the times for prayers five times a day and also for the Friday Speech and prayers.Helping the people who moved to the Leicester area is an important task for us.We are in the mosque in the process of helping the families whose first language not English, to give them support and help.

The charity provides support for those directly and indirectly affected by Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia in Leicester,Leicestershire and Rutland. This is achieved via a number of initiatives such as monthly coffee mornings, quarterly support group meetings, workshops, training days, research participation, educational forums, outreach, children-led initiatives and bespoke client programmes

The main objects of the Charity are the promotion of Public health,Medical research and Training,Relieve of Poverty and providing aid to Hospitals for equipment and medical care.

The Olive Trust seeks to support and empower individuals in mental health distress. Our main area of service delivery is to provide free, or low cost counselling and psychotherapy to anyone residing in Leicester/LLR.

Community of Christ is a Christian church whose purpose is to promote communities of joy, hope, love and peace. We recognise the worth of all persons and all are welcome. We provide a range of activities including worship, Messy church, sacraments including baby blessing, communion, baptism and confirmation plus youth groups, women's group, Warm Welcome Space and Stay & Play run by childminders.

The Objectives was to provide spiritual guidance and support charities members and affilliates as they work to further the christian religion.Members involved in philanthropic outreach both in UK and Asia.See Annual Report

We support asylum seekers and refugees who have to report to the Home Office Reporting Centre in Loughborough. We offer words of welcome and support. We also give out vouchers which can be used at a local community cafe and in the winter we give out hats, gloves and scarves. During the school holidays we provide small gifts for children who accompany their parents.

In order to advance the Christian faith in accordance with our basis of faith we hold regular weekly meetings, all of which are open to the general public & include opportunities for children from the age of 4 upwards. Our buildings are used in term time by a Christian school with a curriculum up to key stage 4. We also provide facilities for birthday parties for children on the estate.

Help people in the community

The principal aims of the charity are to make interest free loans to young people to enable them either to start in business or further their education.

To advance the Islamic religion in Leicester for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, community events, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, and producing or distributing literature on Islam to enlighten others about the Islamic faith religion.

The organisation is focused on self-help, where members pool their skills and knowledge, for the benefit of others. Members are encouraged to remain active by partaking in many activities such as sports, physical exercise, crafts: indeed, any activity which might be of mutual interest.Socialising plays a part through monthly meetings, where the diverse interest groups can congregate together.
