Women Who Can (CIO) is a charity based in Leicester and Leicestershire that focuses on empowering young women. Our aim is to support young women in their personal and professional journeys by providing practical programmes, workshops, educational resources, and a community network. Our purpose is to instil knowledge and confidence in women and help them achieve their full potential in life.

We offer free counselling for those facing an unintended pregnancy. Counselling is also offered to those who are suffering from baby loss following an abortion, miscarriage or stillbirth. All counsellers are fully trained and supervised

Our funds are collected solely from our own members to enable the above plus assist in the welfare of our own members, maintain our building and support other Christadelphian organisations in their work. Berachah-Faith Ministries (BFM) endeavours to enhance the provision and opportunities for its beneficiaries to develop and utilise their full potential in all areas of spiritual, social and human productivity. We develop training in musical instruments as well as vocal skills in the church and the wider community. We aim to deliver positive messages.

We address the issues of isolation, lack of information, and loneliness experienced by migrants, refugees and their families, with particular emphasis on those facing health and immigration issues. Active Respite provides financial support to children in need to promote educational and physical wellbeing. Active Respite funds leisurely activities such as sporting activities, musical activities, and artistic activities.Active Respite also provides tailored books, and educational app subscriptions to families in need, and accommodations which protect families in need.

Miracles to Believe In will consider requests for full or part funding of projects or specific initiatives or needs which will assist children with Autism in Leicester and Leicestershire. It aims to complement the activities of other statutory bodies and charities.

Salamander aims to protect, promote and enhance the health and rights of people particularly, but not exclusively, marginalised by societies worldwide as a result of their gender, HIV status or sexual and reproductive health. We conduct: global advocacy work; related research; and we coordinate the global Community of Practice of users of the Stepping Stones training programme on gender and HIV.

We are a long running member of the Scout Association in the South East District of Leicester. As part of the Scout Movement we aim to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities, providing fun and adventure through our progressive training.

The Charity receives regular donations from the members of the Rotary Club of Leicester. These donations are dispersed to at the discretion of the members to The Rotary Foundation and other local and national charities. The Club also raises money for specific projects through requests for donations and fund raising events involving Club members; other Rotary Clubs and the general public.

Leicester Council of Faiths promotes trust, understanding and co-operation among the city's faith communities, speaks up for their viewpoint on significant issues, provides reliable information to civic authorities, service providers, educational institutions and local media. Our membership includes representatives of Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh communities.

We provide mid-month health and well-being activities, for example, walks to local venues like art galleries, museums, parks, and gardens, nature reserves, etc. At the end of the month, we provide a craft workshop & IT advice and guidance. During the week there are lunchtime meetings and arranged 1:1 sessions. We provide 2 online zoom workshops in the evenings and a WhatsApp closed group.

This is for individuals who may not usually have access due to youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances. The object is to improve their conditions of life. We do this by creating experiences in, on or around blue spaces in the East Midlands.
