Provision of grants for the relief of poor persons who are experiencing/have experienced mental health problems who are resident in Leicester and the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. Grants are made for the benefit of qualifying recipients within the National Health Service and within the private and voluntary sectors. Grants are not made for costs that should be met from public funds.

We offer care to elderly clients suffering from a disability and our service acts as a means of bringingsomeone out of isolation and loneliness; thereby promoting well-being.We provide services such as Mobile meals, Luncheon club,Day Care,Memory Cafe, Womens Group, Grow Green Project,IT skills,Yoga, Etc. We provide these services from our disabled centre at 10 Wilberforce Road Leicester LE30GT.

We provide a safe and welcoming meeting place for people who are experiencing or recovering from mental health difficulties. We are suitable for people looking for fun activities and somewhere to rediscover their self-confidence and be socially active again.

Grants are made for educational activities to persons in need of financial assistance, who are under the age of 25 years and who are, or one or more of their parents are, normally resident in the Diocese of Leicester. Grants are also made to any maintained Church of England or other maintained schools within the City of Leicester or any other Church of England School in the Diocese of Leicester.

Holy Trinity Playgroup is an Ofsted Registered pre-school playgroup (Ofsted No 226211), operating from Holy Trinity Church Hall, Ashby de la Zouch. We aim to provide education and training for children aged 2 years up to school age from the local area in a welcoming and stimulating environment. There is mix of government funded and fee paying children.

Our charity supports the provision of religious services for the Romanian Community (and anyone interested) in the East Midlands. Promoting the Christian values of charity, and respect for everyone, ROCNE will support families in need, organize educational events for children and adults, help the community to develop and help its members to integrate harmoniously within the British society.

As part of the Church of England we provide public worship. We operate a food bank at Christ the King Church. We run groups for the elderly and isolated. Our building are used by several groups offering preschool, tutoring, sessions for the disabled, karate and other activities.We have links with a number of local primary schools, taking assemblies or hosting their "Carol" service.

A wide range of Christian services and activities which include programmes of meetings and activities for children, youth and the elderly. We support and are involved with local and overseas mission activity in Africa, Asia and Europe.

We meet for worship on Sunday mornings at 10.15 and have other activities throughout the week.

Provides a service, mainly in upland or mountain areas, to save life and alleviate distress. Additionally undertakes searches of lowland and rural areas for missing persons when requested by the Police

Ansaar supports People with Learning Disabilities and Carers by the provision of information, advice and support. It provides a unique separate gender day activities service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and supports them in getting employment and doing voluntary work. Bi-lingual staff offers free support to Carers.

Spring Educational Society runs educational centers and weekend supplementary schools to support pupils with their mainstream education. Spring Education also organizes many educational events, parental conferences and cultural activities for pupils and parents from different ethnic backgrounds to raise awareness on various educational issues.

Provides "open access" supervised play facility known as New Parks Adventure Playground set on parkland. Open year round for out of school activities,holiday playschemes and school visits. Age range 5 - 14 years, all children must register. Free at the point of entry,registered with Ofsted No EY358325 and operating on this site since 1979.

Mainly religious activities - Islam religion.

The trustees meet regularly throughout the year to consider appeals and other charitable causes brought to the attention of the trustees (where these comply with the "area of operation"). Donations are considered where strong local needs have been identified in accordance with the trust deed.

Services for young people in Leicester and Leicestershire

A support group and independent voice for parents/carers of children with a disability/additional needs in Nottingham and surrounding areas linked to the National Network P/C Forums. Run by parents for parents. Providing peer support, play sessions, empowerment training, healthy exercise sessions, signposting to services and support.

Young Leicestershire, an organisation that works with young people and voluntary youth groups, providing positive activities, information and support for all.

It seeks to demonstrate the Christian faith in action by proclaiming the Gospel and meeting needs in the Leicester area.

Delivering a range of services including training programmes,counselling, advice and guidance, health and various other initiatives to provide for the emotional, social and cultural needs of lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender people within the area of benefit. To promote the health and feeling of self worth and to take positive action in favour of such people who face discrimination.

The objects of the CIO are(1) To provide low cost community transport to residents and organisations within Leicestershire,primarily for those who cannot easily access public transport.(2) To promote and provide any other charitable activities, including bringing people together,for the benefit of the community within Leicestershire
