The "Eid Prayer and Festival" in Victoria Park Leicester is a non-profitable charity festival offered freely to all Leicester people irrespective of genders, ages, faiths, colours, races, and social backgrounds. It occurs twice a year, i.e., Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adhha. The event is pen to the entire family: men, women, and children. The event starts by Eid Prayer and Speech followed by Festival.

The activities of the charity are to promote an institute and recreational facilities for local inhabitants comprising of Social Club, Football, Bowls and Croquet.

North Church CIO exists for:(a) The advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarilybut not exclusively within Leicester and the surrounding towns and villages;(b) The relief of financial hardship; and(c) To advance the Christian faith

To provide direction and guidance for the short and longer term management of the village hall for the benefit of the local community

To build, equip, endow & maintain dwelling houses for disabled or otherwise afflicted Leicestershire veterans of the Armed Forces, Merchant Navy and Civil Defence forces of The Crown, their families and dependents.

(1) As an outworking of Christian faith, in the prevention or relief of poverty, by providing vulnerable adults with suitable housing accommodation, training, placements in permitted work, and support for those presenting with one or a range of challenges, including, but not limited to homelessness, addiction, offending behaviour, mental and physical health conditions, initially in Leicestershire.

The charity supports a limited number of causes known to the trustees.

Sports/recreational activites

The organisation provides a place of worship and a place of contact for those interested in learning about Jesus in Leicester. Services and worship will take place on Sundays. The organisation will engage with the local community online and through the production and distribution of literature which will explain the beliefs and practices of the Christian faith.

We continue to provide a facility for the use of clubs, societies, childrens groups, religious groups, health groups, arts groups, private functions and the elderly. The number of groups using the hall has increased this year. The building continues to be maintained to a high standard.

Scouting

Provision of village hall for use of inhabitants of the parish of Glenfield, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions,including use for meetings,lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation or leisure time activities.

Junior football club for all ages

To preserve, promote, enhance the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Canal, for the benefit of all, and to assist the restoration of the Northern Reaches of the canal

Church of England organisation for administration and upkeep of Church premises, and running of Gaulby Parochial Church Council and all matters relating to this.

We are a village hall, providing facilities for pre-school, dog shows and seminars, rabbit ,miniature railway , karati , tai chi,,tai kwando classes, various baby sessions,,election-voting,plays and childrens shows , well being and religious events Senior lunches, soup kitchen ,toddler groups,garden club ,WI,weddings,painting,French and dance classes children's parties and village events
