Scout Group

To provide and maintain the Village Hall for the people of Thurlaston and surrounding area, to use for meetings, social activities, educational and recreational classes

The trustees may also assist someone who qualifies for assistance who resides outside the area of benefit or who is a temporary resident in the area of benefit.

The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.The Society's season runs from October to April each year.

Giving relief comfort and support to the residents of the Devonshire Court Old peoples home

To promote public education in the study and research of the history and archaeology of Market Harborough and district (approx. 10 mile radius) by collection, collation and dissemination of information by, holding lectures, discussions and visits. undertaking historical and archaeological studies. maintaining and augmenting the collections. promoting the publication of historical information.

Raising money for the benefit of pupils at the school

We are a small Village with 6 regular Hall user and it is open for members of the public to use on a booking system

Performance of choral music concerts

The Fosse Singers is a community choir providing thee opportunity for people to participate in and enjoy choral performances.

Fundraising for additional equipment for the School and experiences for the pupil which is not covered in the budget

Raise funds to support the school, through running events such as fairs, sponsored events and providing family entertainment.

We support children and young people, primarily in Leicester and Leicestershire, in learning to play musical instruments and to sing and to take part in ensembles and concerts.
