Fundraising for the school.

Our activities are in providing facilities within the Parish Hall for the benefit of all the parishioners from Breedon on the hill, Tonge and Wilson. These may comprise a variety of activities ranging from fitness classes, meetings, social functions both open and private, presentations, weddings, wakes and Church events.

The Village Hall Committee continue to provide an excellent facility for the Communities of Hoby, Rotherby, Brooksby and Ragdale. In 2019 the use of the Hall continued to be good. The Committee were also thanked for looking after the Hall during the pandemic in 2020 and were thanked for arranging the in person AGM in October so carefully in the Village Hall

Herrick Playgroup provides affordable childcare in the form of a playgroup for under 5s and we also have wraparound care for nursery age children. We also run a playscheme for 4 weeks in summer and a Breakfast and After School Club for 4-11 year olds of Herrick Primary School, on whose grounds we operate from a purpose built mobile.

We provide a three monthly news bulletin magazine for our members in the Midlands area.We make grants to individuals and provide care and counselling services to people with special needs e.g. people with an ileostomy and we raise funds to cover our activities.

We provide a community hall-multipurpose sports facilities-also outdoor multipurpose all weather court and childrens play area-to be used by any sect, creed, race or religion for the benefit of the inhabitants of Tugby and all others users including disabled.

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

To raise funds for donation to Kirby Muxloe Primary School, Leicesterhire either for direct requests by the school or one off projects agreed by the charity Trustess. Other donations may be given to other charities at the discretion of the charity Trustees

To hold in trust the property and any future buildings for cultural and community purposes including the education and religious education, health and activities for the benefit of the residents of Medbourne.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Providing horse riding lessons for disabled children and adults.

In pursuance of the choir's objectives to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects, COLS presents three concerts each year together with other occasional musical activities.

Swiftwater and Flood Search and Rescue Capabilities throughout the UK for Domestic Emergency Services.

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTH RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING THE GAME OF CRICKET AND OTHER SPORTS FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 21 AND UNDER THROUGH CRICKET RELATED ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BEING COACHED TO PLAY, SCORE, UMPIRE AND PREPARE AND MAINTAIN PLAYING AREA.

Scouting activities for young people aged 6 onwards

Relief of those in need, hardship or distress, in the parishes of Burton on the Wolds, Buckminster, Croxton Kerrial, Knipton, Barkstone le Vale and Harby. The trustees may also assist someone who qualifies for assistance who resides outside the area of benefit or who is a temporary resident in the area of benefit.

To promote public education in the study and research of the history and archaeology of Market Harborough and district (approx. 10 mile radius) by collection, collation and dissemination of information by, holding lectures, discussions and visits. undertaking historical and archaeological studies. maintaining and augmenting the collections. promoting the publication of historical information.

We have weekly rehearsals where through internal and external coaching we educate and develop members singing skills. Members are given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills entertaining the public and in competition at the annual British Barbershop Competition

AMATEUR DRAMA SOCIETY OPERATING IN LEICESTERSHIRE FOR ALL PEOPLE

Beaumont Lodge Neighbourhood Association are a community-focused charity that provides local services for young people and adults who reside in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester. We provide various services such as, youth sessions, computer training sessions, a meeting space for local groups, community cafe, coffee mornings, activity sessions and lots more.
