The object (aim) of Hathern Community Library is to promote for the benefit of the locality the provision of general library services and facilities for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facility whatever their circumstances and individual needs.

Friends of Evington manages two projects called Enjoyably Evington and Evington Echo.Enjoyably Evington includes all the affiliated groups who share our charitable objects. The Evington Echo (established 1981) is for the charity's bi-monthy magazine, website, calendar, training and events. We will bring people together for a community centre, in cooperation with the statutory authorities.

Community Choral Singing

Education including Young Leader training, basic life support. Faith activites, including attending church. Recreation including canoeing, camping, climbing, abseiling, football, games. Scouting activities including knots, backwoods cooking, badge work.

Social, educational and recreational activities for 10 to 26 year olds

A concert band based in Ashby De La Zouch of over 50 playing members with a wide age range.Rehearses weekly during school term times. Entry standard for playing members ABRSM grade 5 or equivalent.Holds 3-4 public concerts annually, many in collaboration with other charities. Undertakes occasional tours.

Fundraising for additional equipment for the School and experiences for the pupil which is not covered in the budget

Hire of hall for adults' and children's social and educational activities.

The charity is responsible for the running of the village hall. We maintain the hall, and let it out to local people for a variety of uses. We hold occasional fund raising events to support the running of the hall.

The Sitwell Singers is a mixed-voice Chamber Choir which rehearses regularly during term-time, covering a wide range of pieces from renaissance to the present day. We perform at least 5 public concerts p.a, often with professional instrumentalists and soloists and also arrange an annual "Come and Sing" event in which members of the public participate in the study and performance of a choral work

Promote community interaction by providing facilities for family, social and community events

Local village charity, established for the benefit of the inhabitants of Cossington. The Charity provides and runs a local recreation ground, helps supports works which maintain the appearance of the village and supports local activities.

Christian education, youth outreach ministry, counselling for the needy

The main activity of the charity is providing panjabi language education to children and adults. The school presently opens 4 days a week having three groups as Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday,& Friday/Saturday. The classes are normally held during the evening between 7pm to 8.30pm.

NBVH provides a social focus for the community.It provides facilities for local groups e.g book club, art, history group, sewing group, parish council, parochial council meetings. It provides a venue for social events for the community quiz nights, table tennis, cinema evenings and is also available at extremely reasonably rates for private hire e.g. children's parties, large family occasions.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit by the provision of facilities for playing squash and racketball in Loughborough and surrounding area.

The Old School is an ancient listed building and a heritage asset to the village. It is used by various groups in the village as a meeting place, for the purpose of raising funds for its maintenance to the benefit of the whole community.

Provides and maintains a meeting place for anyone who wishes to hire the hall

Manage the assets of the Trust, for the benefit of the local School and local children, and inaccordance with the historic Trust document.
