To advance the Hindu religion including Hindu religious education for the benefit of the public by the establishment of a place of worship, the holding of prayer meetings, Religious Ceremonies, Indian Hymns, public celebrations of key religious festivals and producing, publishing and distributing various literature on Hinduism and the Hindu Religion

We provide a free lending library service to our community and increasingly a hub for village events.

Martinshaw School Association plan and hold events, usually on school premises throughout the year. All money raised goes towards items/resources the school needs to benefit the learning experience of its students.

To provide facilities for the use of church organisations and the wider community.

TO PROVIDE HELP AND SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH CEREBRAL PALSY, THEIR CARERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE A VARIETY OF SERVICES: LOW COST HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION, WELFARE GRANTS AND LOANS, ADVOCACY, A TRANSPORT SERVICE, INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT, SOCIAL EVENTS, DAY TRIPS, SUPPORT GROUPS AND HELP AND ADVICE ON A RANGE OF DISABILITY ISSUES.

The objective of the Choir is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music, and in particular the art and science of chamber music, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other related activities as the Choir through its committee shall determine from time to time.

Performing brass band music to audiences of mixed ages and abilities. Providing tuition for band members and opportunities to extend ability and repertoire.

An association raising funds for the benefit of children at the local school.

Provides Pre School Nursery facility.

The promotion of the appreciation of four part harmony singing by a male voice choir

Provision of Hall for public use for recreation and sport.Social events for the benefit of villagers and locality.

Beaumont Lodge Neighbourhood Association are a community-focused charity that provides local services for young people and adults who reside in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester. We provide various services such as, youth sessions, computer training sessions, a meeting space for local groups, community cafe, coffee mornings, activity sessions and lots more.

The Sitwell Singers is a mixed-voice Chamber Choir which rehearses regularly during term-time, covering a wide range of pieces from renaissance to the present day. We perform at least 5 public concerts p.a, often with professional instrumentalists and soloists and also arrange an annual "Come and Sing" event in which members of the public participate in the study and performance of a choral work

The house provides accommodation for day and residentiary guests. These come for quiet, private study or retreat. Groups are usually from churches of different denominations but also more secular community groups - community care for the elderly, university of the third age etc. The house also provides a programme of quiet days and study courses which explore aspects of Christian Spirituality.

Parent Teacher Association

General charitable purposes including education for people resident in the following Leicestershire villages, Twyford, South Croxton, Barsby, Billesdon, Cold Newton and Lowesby.

Promote musical concerts for the benefit of club members and the public.

Opera production for 4 performances during April. Autumn concert for 3 performances during October. "Lollipops" concerts - 3 or 4 during the year. Carol singing for charity collection in December. Opera Festival organised when funding allows.
