The object (aim) of Hathern Community Library is to promote for the benefit of the locality the provision of general library services and facilities for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facility whatever their circumstances and individual needs.

Provides newspaper archives for research etc, other local archives, companies, industrial info, photographs (35000) and approx 1000 maps. We sell our own local history books (produced in house) to raise funds to operate, provide schools with local history information in classes. We provide a free entry reading room for visitors and other local groups.

Whitwell Brass perform several public concerts each year in addition to competing in brass band competitions. The band also provides tuition to players of all ages.

Provision of village hall facilities for local residents, also hired out to organisations to raise funds.

The Trust aims to promote, educate and interpret the industrial and coal mining heritage of Coalville and surrounding area. We are developing educational delivery for schools, colleges and adult learning based at the historic Snibston Colliery. The Trust aims to benefit all sectors of the community. This will be delivered through formal and informal learning through community participation.

Fundraising support for Woolden Hill Primary School

This area is held by the Parish Council in trust for the provision of and maintenance of a recreation ground or playing field and any building on the site for recreational, leisure and educational activities for all residents in district for the benefit of all without discrimination.The hall, built in 2016, is being used by all sections of the community for various events and activities

The Association manages a building that is hired for a variety uses by organisations, activity groups, clubs and individuals.

Timeout is based in Coventry and offers free and low-cost counselling.Our counsellors have experience in many areas of need ? gender identity, sexuality, anxiety, bereavement, hurts from the past, low self-esteem, depression, marriage difficulties and so forth. Counsellors are all trained or are currently in training and are registered with a counselling-accreditation body such as BACP or UKCP.

To preserve and protect the good health of children undergoing cancer treatment for the public and their families through the provision of financial support and by providing such items as the trustees deem appropriate

All Saints PTFA is a charity that has a variety of activities including providing extracurricular activities at the school such as discos, film nights, doughnut days, a Christmas market and Summer fayre. The PTFA will fundraise through various sources through the year, to support the school in providing enrichment for all of the children that attend.

Our charity's activities to raise funds include, Holding a annual music quiz, which includes the drawing of our Valentines raffle. We also hold a summer fayre hosted by one of our committee members in her garden. We also hold a Christmas market & we take part in the annual 'Elf Walk' arranged by one of the employees at our local Police headquarters. All funds go towards helping TNBC sufferers.
