Principle aim is to contribute funds for a one week outdoor residential course for young people with Type I diabetes in Leicestershire. The course is run by the Leicestershire Parents Group of Diabetes UK.Another goal is to support young people with Type I Diabetes on adventurous activity where the control of their insulin levels would be challenging.

The Leisure Support Group is a voluntary organisation the promotes independence, choice & dignity to adults with a learning disability. The aim of the group is to access local community facilities ie bowling, cinema, meals out, sports & social gatherings.

Ashby Parva Village Hall serves as a central hub for the residents of Ashby Parva but is also widely used by people from all the surrounding towns and villages. There are regular activities and events for all ages, abilities and interests. We pride ourselves on running events which are inclusive for all and bring joy and fun to our local community.

Disco's, therapy evenings, fashion show (organised by children), raffles/60/40.

To relieve the needs of Deaf, Deafened, Deaf-Blind , Hard of Hearing people in Leicester and the surrounding areas, in particular by the provision by the support services, advice and education. in furtherance of the object LDAG promotes independence and supports Deaf, Deafened, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing people to participate fully in society .

THE CHARITY EXISTS TO OPERATE THE VILLAGE HALL , A FACILITY FOR USE BY ALL MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

To do anything charitable and lawful to relieve and support the wellbeing of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage people living in the Parish of Markfield and surrounding rural areas without discrimination. It includes both financially or otherwise any Charity led, any affiliated groups or other charitable or community activities with similar objects.

Religious charity meeting Sunday afternoons and providing social activities i.e. snooker, theatre visits, outings, members' tea, new year annual dinner, slide shows and musical items on weekdays. Sunday meetings include religious and educational talks and musical items.

Mixed voice choir

Provision of lending library to residents of Rothley and surrounding area. Recreational activities such as computer support, under 5s, events, room hire etc.

Maintenance of the Turville Memorial Hall so that it remains a usable facility for the members of the local community

We provide and facilitate preventative and targeted support for children and their families, resident in Leicester or Leicestershire, who are in need because of adverse childhood experiences.

Provision of accommodation and support for the homeless.

The charity exists to educate the public in Scottish Country Dancing, by teaching dancing, holding dances and publishing books, records and other training materials, and by promoting dancing as part of our cultural heritage, as well as a healthy and enjoyable activity. Some dances are held for the general public, which raise funds for the charitable purposes of the Branch.

Developing and establishing contacts with members of the Maher Community in various parts of the world and in the UK with the view of forming associations.Promoting general welfare of members of the community.To advance the education of community members by providing facilities and bursaries for higher education .To improve living standards of underpriviledged people in Gujarat India.

THE ROLE OF THE FRIENDS IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH FABRIC. IN PARTICULAR THE REAR WALL IS IN URGENT NEED OF REPAIR.

No activities, other than advertising our presence in all local newspapers , village Newsletters and notice boards

Male Voice Choir - We give concerts throughout the year to raise funds and to donate to good causes and other charities. We also train singers to a good standard and work with other organisations to promote and teach music to people of all ages.

Hold fortnightly meetings for recreation and socialisation. Organise coach outings. Organise an annual holiday.

The purpose of the Charity is to make donations or grants to any individual, charitable society, institution or organisation within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nottingham, which includes Leicester and Market Harborough which are within the objects of St Vincent de Paul Society (England and Wales) charity number 1053992 i.e. the general benefit of poor persons and other charitable work.
