The activities of the charity are to promote the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evengelistic, social and ecumenical for the benefit of the public and the advancement of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England.

Supporting orphans and poor in areas around the world, especially India

The charity's aim is to help and educate young people to develop their physical, mental, moral and spiritual activities and capacities. Three principal activities to achieve this are: The provision of residential and day retreat experiences at the Briars Catholic Youth Retreat Centre. The provision of an outreach ministry. Training, resourcing and advice for youth ministry in the Diocese .

Support to women and girls with complex needs. Provides one-to-one practical and emotional support, advice and advocacy, counselling and psychotherapy and therapeutic group programmes.

We tend to provide grants to any charitable institution or foundation that fit our objectives based on health, research into rare diseases, childrens welfare and relief of poverty and hardship in all ages and countries. We do not fund gap year requests.

Pulp Friction Smoothie Bar CIO supports adults with Learning Disabilities and or Autism to develop their social, work readiness and independent living skills through a variety of activities that are person centered and focus on catering and hospitality, gardening and horticulture, social events such as running a choir. We work in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City.

Leicester Drama Society is an amateur drama group which exists to encourage the study and practice of dramatic art and to promote and conduct theatrical performances. The Society owns and operates a theatre in Leicester city centre - The Little Theatre - where it stages 13 productions a year and provides a venue for other amateur societies and some professional shows.

LOPC provides adventurous activity experiences designed to stimulate, educate and motivate young people & others at affordable prices, in a safe challenging environment. Activities include high ropes, archery, team building, campcraft, paddle-sports & more. LOPC provides NGB coach education courses, childcare (Holiday Schemes & After School Club) and is the base for many community group clubs.

Support to people of all ages with learning disability in & around Melton, through clubs, services and facilities for leisure-time occupation, and the development of skills for independent living. Personal support to people with learning disability in their homes and in the community, enabling respite for families and carers. A pre-school nursery inclusive of children with learning disability.

To improve the social, emotional and intellectual education of young people with special needs and to provide social activities.To run an outreach service in Leicester City and County to provide support for children and young people with special needs and their families and carers. WORK-LINK is a Hinckley Charity, based on the Recycling of furniture/electricals. It provides sheltered, meaningful opportunities to help unemployed individuals, who are not ready/able to embark on a more formal training/educational programme or to directly enter employment. It is an integrated scheme catering for a variety of people, many of whom have special needs, including mental ill health.

The charity's principal objectives during the period were the promotion of lifelong learning throughout the Diocese, effect being given to the belief that all true education must be based on Christian principles, and the promotion and stimulation of religious education according to the doctrines of the Church of England.

The charity raises funds for cancer research in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
