Three principal activities to achieve this are: The provision of residential and day retreat experiences at the Briars Catholic Youth Retreat Centre. The provision of an outreach ministry. Training, resourcing and advice for youth ministry in the Diocese .

Leicester Drama Society is an amateur drama group which exists to encourage the study and practice of dramatic art and to promote and conduct theatrical performances. The Society owns and operates a theatre in Leicester city centre - The Little Theatre - where it stages 13 productions a year and provides a venue for other amateur societies and some professional shows.

We provide opportunities for young people whose life circumstances put them at a disadvantage to engage in creative projects to support their personal development & achievement of their ambitions: running a varied programme of arts, music & cooking activities, from group sessions to one to one support & supporting community capacity building. We also work with adult prisoners and asylum seekers.

Base 51 supports the holistic well-being of young people aged 11 to 25 through: Counselling, Safe Space : one to one support, advice and guidance, youth Groups, LGBTQ youth group :Outburst,Evolution: support for young people affected by serious violence, food, laundry and showers. Base 51 runs a professional training academy ( accredited) , and is based in NGY myplace centre in Nottingham

TO PROMOTE THE SPIRITUAL TEACHINGS OF THE ISLAMIC RELIGION AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE DOCTRINES ON WHICH IT RESTS AND OF THE OBSERVATIONS THAT SERVE TO PROMOTE AND MANIFEST IT ESPECIALLY AMONGST THE MOSLEMS RESIDING IN LEICESTER AND IN THE COUNTY OF LEICESTERSHIRE.

The charity's objective is to apply income received for charitable purposes relating to the National Health Service, providing funds to benefit patients across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, purchasing supplementary and complementary equipment and services for which the related NHS organisations are unable to provide through their normal activities.

The charity's principal objectives during the period were the promotion of lifelong learning throughout the Diocese, effect being given to the belief that all true education must be based on Christian principles, and the promotion and stimulation of religious education according to the doctrines of the Church of England.

We promote Christianity through a variety of activities: regular public worship, events for all ages, we provide a building and Churchyard open to the public for prayer & contemplation, we conduct pastoral work with those in need, assemblies and activities in local schools, run a foodbank and support other charities in the UK and overseas.

The charity makes grants in accordance with its objects, which are:a The relief of the aged who are in need of care and attention because of the disabilities of old age.b The relief of poverty of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. c The advancement of religion according to the tenets of the Islamic faith.

The objects of the charity are the prevention or relief of poverty in Leicester and Leicestershire by providing support, advice and accommodation to homeless or socially isolated individuals or families, and by supporting other voluntary, faith or community organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Promoting the philosophy and practice of Bhakti Yoga as per promoted by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and her foremost senior disciple HH Sushree Dr Bageeshwari Devi. In addition, the society undertakes philanthropic activity by financially supporting Charity hospitals, schools and relief to the needy, especially in India.

We are a Baptist Church and therefore look to support all age groups within the church and reach those who do not know the Lord

Support to people of all ages with learning disability in & around Melton, through clubs, services and facilities for leisure-time occupation, and the development of skills for independent living. Personal support to people with learning disability in their homes and in the community, enabling respite for families and carers. A pre-school nursery inclusive of children with learning disability.
