We organize and run fundraising events for the school and wider community to raise money for extra resources for our primary school. Some of the events we run are Bingo Evenings, Duck Race, Summer Fete.

To bring together additional needs young people in and around Rutland in order for them to independently move around the local area unsupported by their parents, to encourage socialization and independence, to enjoy recreational activities such as going to the pub, having meals out, going to the cinema/theatre. bowling and having days out with their peers.

CDLHS presents at least 5 lectures a year on aspects of local and regional history to all members. We host an annual summer excursion to places of local historic interest, and participate at local events.CDLHS manages the village historic archives housed in the Jubilee Room in Collingham. This is open to the public on a number of days each year and is open on request to facilitate research.
