Fundraising for extra activities for children attending our school

Village Hall Meetings, social and fund raising events.Church meetings and events and Parish Council meetings.Polling station for elections.Hall hire for private functions/charity fund raising events.

Giving help to organisations within the village of Branston to enable them to continue to provide services to the inhabitants. Whenever possible the charity will help individual villagers.

We work with the school and staff to raise money for the benefit of the children. Our main fund raiser is the annual Summer Spectacular, but we also have an annual Christmas Fair. We also sell hanging baskets to parents/carers, we hold school discos, we hold an annual family photograph evening and we sell second hand uniform. Money is spent according to the wishes of the Headteacher and staff.

To raise funds for the conduct of medical research into the causes and management of breast and other cancers in particular the immunotherapy studies led by Professor O. Eremin.

Provide small annual income for the poor of the parish.

Provision of charitable donations to worthy causes in the Grantham & District area.

To advance the Islamic faith for the benefit of the public, mainly but not exclusively in Lincoln, including holding prayer meetings, lectures, celebrating religious festivals, organising and providing religious learning, spiritual guidance, pastoral care and producing or distributing literature about the Islamic faith.

To promote for the benefit of the public by supporting the Mablethorpe and Donna Nook Coastguard Association by the provision of funds to purchase equipment in augmentation to that which is already provided. Also relieving serving or retired coastguards and families in times of need, hardship or distress at the absolute discretion of the trustees.

Religious activities

The funds resulting from the sale of the Village Hall in 2007 are (in accordance with the Trust Deed) to be used to improve the conditions of life for the Area of Benefit (The village of East Stockwith and the hamlet of Walkerith).Future activities will include the provision of amenities to enhance the lives of all residents.

Management of land held in trust, for the benefit of North Somercotes Church of England Primary School, to further and enhance the provision of facilities available at the school.
