The museum preserves and promotes Manchester?s rich and diverse Jewish heritage. Its permanent gallery tells the story of the Jewish community from the 1740s to 1945.Formal and informal learning sessions are regularly held inside the museum as are exhibitions and events, helping to promote tolerance and understanding of Jewish faith, heritage and culture.

VCHP provide free eyecare services to homeless and other vulnerable people in UK in an accessible and friendly environment in which they feel safe, welcome and comfortable. We aim to preserve, protect and promote the ocular health of homeless and other vulnerable people in the UK and include the provision of spectacles that meets their immediate visual needs.

Our overall aim is inspiring people, places and organisations within Middleton, seeking to support and release their potential thus contributing towards building a better place to live, work and visit. Greygarth Association is an educational charity. Its main undertaking is the running of a hall of residence in Manchester for university students, and formation activities for young people.

The Hideaway aims to improve the conditions of life of children and young people in the Greater Manchester area by providing facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation; to help and educate children and young people so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals.

We help local people to improve their health and well-being through things like learning, volunteering, social events, physical exercise and various forms of problem-solving support.

Assistance&Aid (practical, emotional, & financial)to disadvantaged, underprivileged and disabled members of the community children, through to support for the elderly. Activities include support, development & enrichment opportunities, cultural and education programs, training outreach, advice & advocacy for improved health, social welfare. Jellybabies Nursery provides quality and affordable childcare in the Failsworth area. We can cater for 48 children from birth to five years old. The nursery follows the EYFS cirriculumn in a safe, loving and fun environment.

THE CHARITY AIMS ARE TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION BY PREVENTING SOCIAL EXCLUSION AND RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED IN SALFORD, MANCHESTER AND THE REST OF THE UK. CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PROVISION OF EMERGENCY FOOD PARCELS THROUGH SALFORD FOODBANK.

We deliver high quality participatory theatre projects, predominantly for people who are disadvantaged or vulnerable. We create and programme relevant, accessible theatre which challenges and entertains. We run The Edge Theatre & Arts Centre in Manchester, as a resource for community and professional arts and The Dressing Room Cafe which trains learning disabled adults in hospitality & catering.

To alleviate hardship and distress caused by the break-up of marriage and family, and to preserve and protect the health, both physical and mental, of adults and children by the provision of a family centre that encompasses mediation and counselling services within the Warrington area.
