Support adults with learning disabilities across Croydon with arts, learning, training, health, voice and other projects

Merton Street Pastors train and mobilise volunteers from local churches to patrol the streets of Mitcham, Morden and Wimbledon late at night on Friday nights.Our aim is to care for, listen to and help as much as the possible the people that we come into contact with.

Weekly (in term time) rehearsals leading to concerts twice or three times a year open to public.

To advance the education of the children of St John Fisher RC Primary School in Merton for the public benefit by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and resources, determined at the sole discretion of the trustees, for education at the school and not required to be provided by the local education authority.

Provision of Scouting activities for young people

The object of the association is to advance the education of the pupils in school by:1. Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

To advance the education of the children from St Mary?s RC School for the public benefit by contributing towards the capital costs of the school?s running costs and assisting with specific development projects that the trustees in their absolute discretion determine and which are not covered by the local education authority.

We assist people of Afro/Caribbean descent, refugees etc integrate positively into British society. In recognition of the interconnectedness of UK's diverse communities, we extended our services to Asian and other communities.We offer skills training, consultancy,citizenship, diversity, social/micro enterprise, parenting and counselling. We also initiate projects which promote community cohesion.

We provide a weekly opportunity for amateur musicians to come together to play orchestral music in a relaxed inclusive environment. We encourage late-starters, students, regular and occasional players, from diverse social or ethnic backgrounds, and people with disabilities. We provide rehearsal facilities, present concerts, support the local church and give soloist opportunities to the community

Support relief of deprivation or disability by registered charities in LB of Merton and Hounslow, W Sussex in area between Worthing, Chichester and Horsham, and North Hampshire. Typical grant £1000 if making significant contribution to recipient finances. Applicants must have appropriate policies. Individuals are not directly supported. We leave 2 years between grants. Trustees meet twice yearly.

Amber Crisis Pregnancy Care's mission is to provide client-focused counselling support to anyone facing tough decisions about an unplanned pregnancy or struggling due to pregnancy loss after an abortion, miscarriage, or failed IVF. Through our free, confidential, one-to-one counselling support, we offer a safe space for clients to process their experiences and feelings.

The objects of the CIO are to provide for the advancement of public education by the provision of the Wimbledon Windmill Museum comprising the existing collection of exhibits and other items displayed therein and within its curtilage together with any additional exhibits and other items which may from time to time be acquired by the CIO, and to preserve the same as a collection.

Religious Activities.

The charity assists young people under the age of 18 years who either live or attend schools / colleges within the London Borough of Merton. It is aimed to assist in the fields of education, health, the arts or athletics.

The Cardiac Exercise Club provides supervised exercise facilities to BACPR standards for anybody who has or has had circulatory problems(CHD, heart bypass, stroke or carotid artery surgery etc),COPD, or diabetes and wishes to extend the benefits of their treatment. The aims are to prevent a return to hospital and improve the health and ongoing quality of life of our members..

Operation of a Scout Group with all four Sections operational situated in Mitcham in Surrey

1)TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS.2)TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF FUNDS, GOODS OR SERVICES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT. 3)TO ADVANCE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION.

Rehearsals & Public Concerts of Choral Music. Awarding a Tenor Scholarship to a young singer, whenever possible. Use of young musicians and soloists in concerts, whenever possible.In summarising the main activities above, the trustees have taken into account the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on Public Benefit.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
