We have a social meeting every last Tuesday of the month where ex-airborne soldiers can meet and talk about old war stories. We also arrange memorial trips to Normandy and Arnhem for our ex WW2 Vets plus having a few social evenings, such as an Xmas Dance, a summer BBQ and a race night when it is possible. We also make donations to other military deserving causes.

THE PTA ORGANISES VARIOUS ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR TO RAISE FUNDS WHICH ARE THEN DONATED TO THE SCHOOL TO HELP PURCHASE EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT, TO HELP RENOVATE/DECORATE SCHOOL BUILDINGS OR TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS SCHOOL TRIPS.

We hold weekly singing rehearsals which are open to all and have 4 concerts a year to which the public are invited. We have taken part in the local 'Light up Morden' celebrations at Christmas for the last few years, sing Christmas Carols for other local charities and sing at specials events and celebrations at St John the Divine Church, High Path, Merton.

8th Wimbledon Scout Group provides young people in the area with the full range of activities offered by the Scout organisation.

Wandle Heritage is involved in the day to day running of The Wheelhouse at Merton Abbey Mills. This takes the form of opening up the building every weekend on a regular basis.Giving guided tours to schools and interested groups. Maintenance of the waterwheel, the building, and our duties include clearing the river of rubbish and monitoring eel migration up our eel pass for London Zoo.

We are an association of parents and friends of Wimbledon College. We support students at the school by organising social events to raise money for the school and help build the school community.
