The Foundation makes grants to registered charities in the North East of England.

RAFA Newcastle & Gateshead Branch 0370 meet the 1st Monday of the month's from February to December for social gathering of it's membership. The Branch is active in raising funds, via authorised Local Authority street collections, in store etc. for the Association's Annual Wings Appeal. Also carries out Welfare/Social visits on behalf of RAFA and the RAF Benevolent Fund for defined groups.

Family Empowerment Network International ( FENET International) provides services to disadvantaged communities in the UK and in Africa and projects include the provision of education and training, Health and well-being, Advice, information and signposting, economic development, and empowerment, environmental protection and community cohesion.

We are a group of parents and friends raising money to enhance the learning experiences of our children.

We are an all inclusive drama and musical society with a youth theatre. We perform throughout Northumberland and Tyneside. Our aim is to be an inclusive organisation. This is a holding note only until a full note can be prepared.

Provides bereavement support for bereaved parents.and any adults and children who need support

Management and development of an outdoor centre called Milkhope Farmhouse, Kidland Forest, Alwinton, Northumberland. Organisation of educational visits for young people and community groups in the North East.

St Charles School PTA actively raises money to support the wellbeing and education of children at St Charles RC Primary school.

Sunderland AS is run by volunteers who promote the science of astronomy to the people of North East England. We host group visits to our observatory at Washington Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust as well as holding regular open evenings for the general public.

M.A.S. is a local history society that presents a series of lectures, outings and an annual exhibitiion.It is also actively trying to establish a local museum/heritage centre based on The Society's own collection.

We provide free lifelong support to stroke survivors and their families living in the North East of England. We provide two private group sessions per week, that include: pool exercise, chair-based exercise, physiotherapy, complementary therapy, drop-in social and use of the public gym. All under the supervision of qualified service providers.

The activities involve the care, maintenance and improvement of Gosforth Central Park. This will also include organising family orientated events.

Parent Teacher Association for School. Raising money by putting on events such as Summer Fair with funds going to school to support school activities and expenditure such as subsidising trips and buying books or equipment.

To advance education of public in appreciation of music & in particular piano music through provision of recitals & concerts via such other charitable ways that trustees may determine from time to time. Our educational aims have been achieved through our continued promotion of piano recitals of classical music given entirely by professional artists of international renown.

The aim of the Trust is to promote the education, in its widest sense, of young people under the age of 25. The young person or their parent must be a member or attender of a meeting of the Religious Society of Friends within the areas of Cumberland, Durham or Scotland General Meetings.

Our aim is to advance the education of pupils in the school by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. Northumbria Advanced Motorcyclists (NAM) is a affiliated to The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). Our main aim is to promote safe riding. Our volunteers train riders in the Northumbria area to reach an advanced standard which is recognised by the IAM. NAM also promotes social activities and charity fundraising for local charities.NAM works closely with the Police and Fire and Rescue Services.
