MEA House first opened in 1974 and currently has 23 tenants, which includes four tenants who are commercial entities involved with the voluntary sector. The majority of the offices are let to charities at below market rate.

Choysez works on a part time basis with young people throughout Northumberland aged 9 - 16 years. We support and empower them to take advantage of life's opportunities. Young people at Choysez have individually designed programmes to help gain nationally recognised qualifications and to boost their self esteem. Choysez delivers these programmes through a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

The Charity, with the help of invaluable contributions from supporters of our hospitalsand community services, provides an opportunity to undertake activities and enhance patient care that might otherwise not be possible. This includes the purchase of medical equipment, improvements to patient amenities and patient and staff education, above and beyond what is normally provided by the NHS.

Our mission focuses on early intervention and long-term assistance for children,adults and the veteran community facing mental health challenges, addiction, and the aftermath of abuse. We work to create equality of opportunity in arts and culture for disabled people in the North East of England. We do this by supporting and promoting the work of disabled artists, by enabling and facilitating disabled people to access all aspects of the arts, by assisting cultural venues to become inclusive and by presenting a programme of arts and cultural activity.

Maintenance of arms houses relief in need, hardship and distress in Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and South Tyneside and all places within 5 miles of the River Tyne.

We work with migrant people in the North East of England, especially Sunderland. We focus on those with limited access to information and support network, including migrants and refugee and the Eastern European community. We came to being in 2009 and have now converted to a CIO. Provides funding for kidney research in the North of England.

The CVYP Ltd work with young people 8-19 yrs and up to 25 yrs for young people with special needs. We have many projects i.e. music, mountain biking, archery, all sports, outdoor ed and youth work.We work closely with local schools/colleges, multiple agencies, NCC and the DofE Award scheme as well as the John Muir Awards. In addition CVYP has a leased off- site expedition centre in Kielder.

Bright Futures deliver a range of project activities to young women aged 11-25 to increase their health, wellbeing and safety. We deliver projects around a range of issues including alcohol misuse, sexual health, domestic abuse, young mums, unemployment and exploitation.
