We provide facilities and services for the recreation or other leisure-time occupation of the general public,in particular, but not exclusively, for people who are refugees and seeking asylum, in the north of England, with the object of improving their conditions of life and general well-being, primarily through the provision of horticultural and nature based activities.

We are a Voluntary Community Organisation providing space for a range of Community Groups and have lettings to raise funds to run the Centre.Activities include: Childcare for 0-10year olds, Marshal Arts, Dance, Games/Role Play, Yoga etc. See our Web site for the current programme.We have an OFSTED registered Childcare Setting (550093)

Maintenance of arms houses relief in need, hardship and distress in Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and South Tyneside and all places within 5 miles of the River Tyne.

We work with migrant people in the North East of England, especially Sunderland. We focus on those with limited access to information and support network, including migrants and refugee and the Eastern European community. We came to being in 2009 and have now converted to a CIO. IPC promotes the social and economic inclusion of refugees, asylum seekers and marginalised communities in the North East of England. Activities include ESOL, the Resettlement Programme for Overseas Doctors, Community Football, Capacity Building, Healthy Eating and Life-style, Gardening project, Cycling Recycling, Martial Arts, Developing and Supporting Volunteers in Sport, Community Champions.

To promote religious, educational & social activities and to have social and welfare relations with other groups. To run the Newcastle central mosque and Islamic centre. To run the children's language school. To help and provide birth, marriages and burial facilities. To assist all in need and help.

Birkheads Wild supports young people in Gateshead and the wider North East area to build a better future for themselves - using the outdoors. By using the outdoors we help young people to grow in skills and confidence, to think for themselves and become more fulfilled. Our work helps young people to understand themselves better, to feel a sense of belonging, to grow in skills and confidence.

We support people across Teesside and North Yorkshire with a past conviction into paid employment. Our mentored approach ensures we select those who are stable, ready, and committed before referring into our network of socially invested employers.

The Main Focus of Walker Central FC is to develop and continue to build on the strong relationships within the community to enable people living in the surrounding areas to become part of a local charitable football club. Our Motto has always been "Keep the kids off the streets" and this is what Walker Central FC is all about. We offer a safe haven for children age 4 up to 16.

The charity exists to support the development of all children parents and Inclusion. We support children under school age by attending parent and toddler groups. We have an Inclusion team which delivers support to under school age children. The charity offers a toy loan library. advice, support and information to help all families and settings provide for the needs of their communities.
