East London Dance is the leading producer of creative dance experiences for the people of east London and beyond. We produce inspirational projects and events to engage our diverse local communities in dance, and nurture the next generation of artists and professionals.

The Charity's activities include: 1. The advancement of Christ's Kingdom by faithful teaching in Stratford; 2. Supporting those working in pastoral work; 3. Treasures Foundation offers supported housing for women who have recently been released from prison, rehab or other community sources. The women we assist are recovering from addiction. We support the women through regular group and one to one work which covers practical support and signposting to other services. We provide an intensive day program and we offer out reach and move on support.

NEWway Project was set up in 2013 in order to support the rising numbers of homeless people in the London Borough of Newham. Our team works alongside specialist support agencies, local churches and hundreds of local volunteers to provide three core services: NEWdawn - a winter night shelter, NEWday - year round daytime support services, and NEWlife - gardening workshops for local rough sleepers.

The Charity promotes social cohesion, liaising with statutory, private and other strategic bodies to ensure that all local communities are fully consulted and included in all relevant initatives.

The Company's objects are for the benfit of any charitable purpose which promotes the arts and the education of the public in the arts in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and surrounding Boroughs as the Trustees may from time to time determine.
