The promotion of competitive festivals for dance, drama/speech & music. At these bursaries may be awarded or fees paid for the further development of competitors. We also hold an annual drama summer school.

To promote the advancement of the dramatic arts for the public benefit through the production and performance of live theatre in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas.

The Village Hall, Winteringham is a charity which offers space for the public to hire and hold events. Regular events are organised to raise funds to help towards the upkeep and maintenance of the building.

Scout Group

To help serving and retired members of Humberside Police who are in financial difficulty by providing a loan/grant. Grants can also be provied on an altruistic basis is it would help the aforementioned to deal with a particularly difficult time in their lives. The Fund is largely made up of subscriptions from members. Donations by private and public bodies are also very welcome.

The provision of a volunteer driver and their car, providing a service to anyone needing transport to attend medical appointments when there is no public transport service available or they are unable to physically access it.

Scouting

Provide chamber music concerts given by professional artists for the surrounding area.

Provides advice when requested by landowners and will comment on developments, generally through the planning process. It will also continue to comment on strategic planning issues and seek to support the interests of the countryside by promoting the great value of fragile landscape in the Parishes of Fishlake, Fenwick and Sykehouse.

For the residents of the Parish of Haxey. A VALENTINES gift to elderly or needy persons. TOOLS OF THE TRADE - a bursary to young people who are setting up or learning a trade, either by apprenticeship, further or university education. HOSPITAL VISITING - Contribution towards travelling expenses for in/out patient visits to hospital.

The societies primary purpose is to promote and advance issues about agriculture and farming by organising a range of events throughout the year. The centrepiece of its activities is the Annual Show which attracts about 5,000 people from Scunthorpe, Doncaster and the Isle of Axholme

An active charity - the village hall is used 5 days a week for Pre School and a few evenings for the following groups; Flower club, Music 4 You, Ladies Circle, W I , Social Bingo and for private bookings by the citizens of Bottesford and Yaddlethorpe

Dale Park Youth Organisation provides sports coaching and leisure activities to children and young people in the Winterton and district area.

Our aims are to offer support to our members with learning disabilities and their families and carers. We also offer leisure and sporting opportunities to our members.

Purchased the Methodist Chapel and converted it to a Community Centre. To maintain it for the benefit of the inhabitants of Roxby and surrounding villages.

To promote the advancement of liberal, professional and technological education and the diffussion and extension of arts, sciences and learning in the local area of East Yorkshire, North and North-East Lincolnshire: and in particular to assist the University of Hull in the objective of providing further education to the national and international community, for which it was founded.

Community hall for hire by the general public, organisations and charitable groups.

The Charity initially provided accommodation to ladies on their own who had reached the age of 60 years. It is now open to single ladies of 50 years and over who wish to reside in one of 6 almshouses and pay a weekly maintenance contribution.

Community activities for both young and elderly. Pre-school, toddlers, tai-chi, pilates. Parties. Music. South Ferriby is situated in the 'low villages' of N. Lincolnshire. We are a rural, farming community and the Village Hall is a lifeline to many.

We organise an annual sponsored swimming event in Scunthorpe, the cost of which is covered by corporate sponsors. All monies raised by the swimmers are made available for local community organisations and charities to apply for, the only proviso is that the causes must benefit people living in North Lincolnshire. All applications are vetted by a panel who decide which are supported.

Help and support given to Unitarian congregations and individuals in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. Sharing of worship, discussions and social activity.Grants made to children and adults attending national Unitarian activities. Grants for worship studies courses for lay preachers across the district. Donation to Send a child to Hucklow charity. Grant towards maintaining church premises.

Winterton Playing Fields Association is a charity charged with the running of the playing field in the town of Winterton. The playing field and associated buildings is leased from the Winterton Town Council and has to be run for the enjoyment of all inhabitents of the town.
